Present: Messrs. Gumieny, Molenda, Yahr, Washa, White and Schickowski
Purpose of the meeting was to elect a new President so that our Committee would be represented on the Plan Commission. On a secret ballot Mr. Yahr was elected over Mr. White 4-2.
Mr. White was elected Vice-President unanimously. After discussion it was decided that Mr. White would take Mr. Yahr's place if he could not make a meeting because of a school activity.
Motion, Mr. Mole&a, 2nd, Mr. Yahr, carried, that we create the position of Director of Park and Recreation to relieve the President of some of the responsibilities of his office. Secretary was instructed to send a letter to the Common Council informing them of our action. Duties of the Director will be worked out at our next meeting, May 25, 1972, to be held at Teen Center.
Motion-Mr. Molenda, 2nd-Mr. Gumieny, carried, to defer election of Director, Secretary and Treasurer until next meeting.
