Minutes o Meetigg held. October 5, 1965.
Meeting called to order at 7130 PK by Chairman Mr. Dablen, members in
attendance mere Mr. Millera Dr. Riess, Mr. DeAngelis, Mrs. Sanders mad

Dr. Riess moved the acceptance of minutes of Sept. 7tb meeting are mailed,
seconded Mr. Miller, mDtion carred..
Kr. Dahlen stated Abe roof at Horn Field Bldg. vas damaged, he will con-
tact Mr. Friend and bane It repaired.
Fencing for the Courts at Javel Crest has not been put up because clamps
have to be made for the 10 foot poles when these clamps are ready the
fencing uIll be erected.
The Board requested Nro Peterson to submit bis request for equipment &
supplies for the Summer Program as soon as possible; this Is for the 1966
seacono
The Board signed a contract with £bra Peterson for the 1966 season in the
amount of 01300.009 starting date of Mr. Petersons emplpyment January 1,
1966.
A report fr m the Waukesha Recreation Department regarding the Suim wing
Leanono In Ruokego was read and placed on file.
Jewel Great Bldg. - It was moved by Mrs, Sanders that the P & R Bda re-
410 $4,000.00 for improvement on the Jewel Crest Bldg. so it can be
weathereproofed and the necessary inside work completed immediately ao
further deterioratina of the bldg. is prevented seconded Dr. Riess, motion
carried. farm DeArgells uIll Inform the Public Welfare Committee of this
action so the neoes€aary steps can be taken to appropriate the money.
Winter Reoreation - Dr, Riess reported that the Fire Gbiefs vzuld be will-
ing to flood areas for skatlag rinks
It was ouggeated that a Municipal Band be forMed under the Recreation Bd.
Mrs Dablen uns aoked to contact Mr. Miller to see if he Mould be avail-
able to Direct thla organization. An announcement of the Formation of
a Municipal Baud will be sent out in the nett nowsletter mailed to the
citizens of Muskego,
Mr. Miller auggeoted Dr. Riess and Mr. Chic meet with tare Kangas, regard.
ing Winter Recreational Prog; amy prior to the Boards next mooting.
Budget met for t;ho Park & Rocreation Board will be held with the Finance
Committee October 11%, all members of the board who are available are re-
quested to attend,
Ira DeAngelis directod a letter to this board stating he wanted and a
brief summary of the bdsa functions to appear In the newsletters r. Dablen
will prepare the article.
