PARK & RECREATION BOARD
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 23, 1965
Mr. Dahlen, Chairman, called meeting to order at 7:45PM members
present were Mr. Miller, Dr. Riess, Mr. Chic, Mr. Kibbee and
J. Sanders also attending the meeting were Mr. Gerald Lee, Bldg
Insp. and Mr. Kangas.
Minutes of previous meeting were approved as read.
Fineial Report accepted.
Sectetary directed to send Mrc L. Hubka letter stating the P & R Bdo
will pay a total of $200.00 for fencing in Jewel Crest.
Dr. Riess moved that the additional cost for Horn Field be requested
.from the Common Council, this money for the heating system to beA
obtained from the General Fund. 2nd Mr. Kibbee motion passed.
BID FOR HEATING SYSTEM IN JEWEL CREST BLDG AS FOLLOWS:
1. Welch 1450
20 Gerth - 1568
3. Allis - $1550
4. Air -Guard $1200.00
Dr. Riess moved to accept low bid of Air Guard. Mr. Miller 2nd
motion carried.
Mr. Cbic moved to award bid for plumbing to Mr. Paul Kowalkowski,
2nd Mr. Miller. Motion carried.
Mimeo Dahlen informed Board that Mr. Miller will be willing to direct
the Municipal Band. Organization t.ylll not begin until January 1966.
Forms - it was suggested that farms be printed for the use of Munich
pal Buildingt and available for organizations desiring to use these
sites for meetings.
Letter should be directed to Mr. Bertram requesting the plowing of
Horn Field and Jewel Crest. XXXZ
Mr. Kangas reported on the Winter Recreation Program - Registration
will begin in January. Mr. Kangas will start working on the pro-
gram the lat week in December.
Mr. Cb1c moved seconded by Mr. Kibbee that the Park & Rec Bdo pur-
chase 2 ping-p ong tables motion carried.
Next meeting will be held Dec. 7th Dittrict Office.
