NEW BUSINESS Discussion Regarding Former Police Department Building Mayor Petfalski stated that the building and what should be done with it has been discussed often. He has been approached by the Lion's Club and the Muskego Women's Club and questioned on it weekly / bi-monthly concerning our plans for the building. Mr. Kroeger and his department have had discussions internally. There have been many options as to what could be done with it. Mr. Kroeger stated that he walked through with a representative of Absolute Construction for some suggestions and was given some rough cost estimates. The building has good bones, but needs a lot of work. The longer it sits, the more problems needing to be repaired. He passed out a handout with Recreational needs. He mentioned he is also looking at different funding available. Mayor Petfalski stated that he is looking for feedback from the Council on how to go forward. As there is enough community interest in this, he would like to put together an Ad Hoc Citizen's Committee to look at what could be done there and research different funding sources. He would like to see an Alderperson or two to sit on the Committee and report back in about six months to Council with a wish list, some numbers, and funding sources including fund raising.
