PCM19940802CITY OF MUSKEGO PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES OF PLAN COMMISSION MEETING HELD ON AUGUST 2, 1994 Mayor David DeAngelis called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m. Vitt, Raimann, Smith, Honl, Hulbert and Director Matthew Sadowski. PRESENT: Chairman David DeAngelis, Ald. Taube, Commissioners' ABSENT: None MINUTES: Commissioner Smith made a motion to approve the Minutes of the July 19, 1994, meeting. Commissioner Honl seconded. Upon a voice vote the motion to adopt passed unanimously. OLD BUSINESS: None CONSENT AGENDA: None NEW BUSINESS: RESOLUTION bP.C.149-94 -- Approval of Final Plat by Metropolitan Engineering of Belsha Estates located in the NE 1/4 of Section 11. (Durham Drive) Commissioner Raimann made a motion to adopt, Commissioner Smith seconded. All corrections have been Resolution #P.C. 149-94 passed unanimously. made per the City Engineers comments. Upon a roll call vote, RESOLUTION bP.C.150-94 -- Approval of Replat of Kimberly Estates by Metropolitan Engineering located in the NE 1/4 of Section 18. Commissioner Vitt made a motion to adopt, Commissioner Hulbert seconded. Commissioner Hulbert made a motion to defer, Commissioner Raimann seconded. Upon a voice vote, Resolution #P.C. 154-94 was deferred. RESOLUTION IP.C.155-94 -- Approval of Sketch for a Land Division creating Four Lots by Metropolitan Engineering located in the SW 1/4 of Section 9 and the SE 1/4 of Section 8. (Barrett Properties - Lion's Park Drive and Racine Avenue) Commissioner Smith made a motion to adopt, Commissioner Honl seconded. The existing house on Lot 2 is an existing legal nonconforming duplex by the right of existence. As lot 4 meets the zoning requirements of the RS-2 Zoning District, a plan is not required indicating the Park Drive to the northwest are comparable in size to the proposed future development of said lot. RESOLUTION IP.C.156-94 -- Approval of Sketch creating a Two Parcel Land Division by Jahnke & Jahnke for the Wiza Property located in the Muskego Business/Industrial Park in the NE 1/4 of Section 17 and the NW 1/4 of Section 16. (Mercury Drive, Apollo Drive and Gemini Drive) Commissioner Smith made a motion to adopt, Commissioner Honl seconded. The DNR and Army Corps of Engineers and Mr. Wiza have agreed to a wetlands mitigation regarding the wetlands on this site. Upon a roll call vote, Resolution #P.C. 156-94 passed 6-0-1 with Ald. Taube abstaining due to a conflict of interest (petitioner is a customer). RESOLUTION IP.C.157-94 -- Approval of Certified Survey Map creating a Two Parcel Land Division by Jahnke & Jahnke for the Wiza Property located in the Muskego Business/Industrial Park in the NE 1/4 of Section 17 and the NW 1/4 of Section 16. RESOLUTION CP.C.159-94 -- Disapproval of Sketch for a Land Division creating a Five Lot Land Division by David Cuske for made a motion to adopt, Commissioner Hulbert seconded. (Crowbar Road) Commissioner Smith made a motion to adopt, Commissioner Honl seconded. Mrs. Mitchell, Community Housing Initiative, cited that the Community works throughout Waukesha County. Unfortunately, the City of Housing Initiative is a 501C3 nonprofit housing developer who Muskego is out of the block grant area. The intent is to sell some of the adjoining lands to rehabilitate her existing home. The commission would be acceptable to a new sketch that would create a land division that meets the City codes and Ordinances. Discussion ensued regarding the possibility of a Planned Unit Development. Upon a roll call vote, Resolution #P.C. 160-94 passed unanimously and will waive the submittal fee of a revised sketch. RESOLUTION CP.C.161-94 -- Approval of Certified Survey Map Corner of Janesville Road and Lannon Drive) Ald. Taube made a by the Firstar Bank located in the SW 1/4 of Section 10. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS Discussion on the amendment to 17:3.08 The proposed revision will be further revised per the City Attorney. The revision needs to be further specific regarding the action that the Plan Commission takes. Upon further discussion, Director Sadowski to proceed. the commission agreed with the proposed revisions and directed Pg. 4 Plan Commieeion Minutes 08/02/94 There is nothing to update on the lawsuit with the Board of Appeals. There will be a committee formed to begin researching possible locations of another City Industrial Park. The Fact Book will be on the August 16, 1994 Plan Commission Agenda for review and adoption. Please review for said meeting. The logo will possibly be done in three colors (black, green and orange). Casanova’s Marine has relocated to the old Superior Sign building. Taube would like the drop boxes changed or moved to allow for easier accessibility. The fence bordering this parking lot with the condominium is the property of the condominium’s. There is currently an effort of discuss with the condominium association regarding the installation of privacy slats. ADJOURNMENT Ald.
