PCM19881115aCITY OF MUSKEG0 PUBLIC HEARING MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING HELD ON NOVEMBER 15, 1988. Mayor Wayne Salentine called the meeting to order at 6:50 P.M. PRESENT: Chairman Salentine, Edward Raimann. Darl Honl, Jack m, Alderman Penovich and Director Gerald P. Lee. ABSENT: Jerald Hulbert and Dottie Rector. MINUTES: The Mayor noted the Public Hearing is to obtain public reaction to the petition by William Mortimore to amend the general floodplain district map for the property located within the Lake Brittany Estates Subdivision adjacent to the Tess Corners Creek in the NE 1/4 of Section 12. Mr. Lee gave the background on the area and explained the two different types of maps: wetland/shoreland and flood hazard map. Mr. Jose' Aldayuz DNR telephoned today with their response to filling this area. The members were provided with a copy of a letter dictated over the phone to the Planning Department secretary. Cindy DeBruine of Donahue & Associates presented their findings concerning the HEC-2 analysis for the proposed floodway condition. Mr. Lee brought up the problem with the empty lot on the corner of Fairfield and Courtland. When the road was Mortimore stated that he has offered dirt to fill this lot.
