PCM19850319PLAN COMMISSION CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF PLAN COMMISSION MEETING OF MARCH 19, 1985 Mayor Wayne Salerltine called the meeting to order at 7:OO P.M. PRESENT: Chairman Salentine, Richard Arrowood, Alderman Richard Nilsson, Secretary Edward Raimann, and Harvey Boettcher. Zoning Administrator Gerald Lee was also present. ABSENT: Jack Schmidt and Les Constantineau , MINUTES: Mr. Arrowood moved to approve the minutes of the March 5, 1985 meeting. Alderman Nilsson secor,ded and the motion carried. NEW BUSINESS: TOM GERSTMAN - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P.C. 26-85. Denial of Temporary Sign. Mr. Arrowood moved for adoption. Mr. Raimann seconded. Mr. Gerstman appeared before the Commission to explain the temporary sign is good advertising, and has brought in business to his floral shop. Mayor Salentine felt that the Commission would be setting a precedent in allowing Mr. Gerstman consider constructing a permanent sign. Mr. Raimann the extension of time for a temporary sign. Mr. Lee suggested suggested a permanent sign could be revised to meet the maximum '.call vote the motion to adopt the disapproval of Resolution #P.C. height of 20' in order for it to be more visable. Upon a roll 26-85 carried unanimously. AUTO SHOW - PARKLAND MALL - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P.C. 27-85, Approval of Temporary Sign. Mr. Boettcher moved for adoption. Mr. Raimann seconded. Upon a roll call vote the motion to adopt carried unanimously. ROBERT KLENZ - Resolution #P.C. 28-85, Recommending Disapproval of Rezoning from RS-1 to RS-3. Mayor Salentine asked that the Resolution be held over until the next meeting upon request of Mr. Klenz, who could not attend the meeting. CUSTOM WIRE ASSEMBLIES - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P.C. 29-85, Approval of Addition. Alderman Nilsson moved for adoption. Mr. Boettcher seconded. Upon a roll call vote the motion to adopt carried unanimously. 30-85, Approval of Certified Survey Map. Mr. Arrowood moved for W. CHMIEL - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P.C. Upon a roll call vote the motion to adopt Resolution #P.C. 30-85 carried unanimously. Page 2 DISCUSSION: March 5, 1985 Plan Commission Mr. Lee reported that an inspection was made at the Town and Country Disposal site, and the free fire wood on the premises is mixed with other debris. Mayor Salentine suggested that Mooney and Associates would be more qualified to work with Mr. Lee in recommending changes to the Pian Commission regarding the rules and regulations of the Industrial Park. ADJOURNMENT : Mr. Raimann moved to adjourn at 7:30 P.M. Mr.Boettcher seconded and the motion carried.
