MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 5, 1984 CITY HALL
Mayor Salentine called the meeting to order at 7:OO P.M.
PRESENT: Chairman Wayne Salentine, Secretary Edward Raimann,
Administrator Gerald Lee.
Richard Arromod, Harvey Boettcher, Jack Schmidt and Zoning
LATE: Ald. Richard Nilsson
MINUTES: Mr. Arrowood moved to approve the minutes of the May
15, 1984 meeting. Seconded by Mr. Constantineau, motion carried.
OLD BUSINESS: - Denial of Legal Lot Status (Halbach). The Plan
Halbach at next meeting.
Commission is to review an alternate plan submitted by Mr.
NEW BUSINESS:
MR. AND MRS. KEVIN RUTZEN - The Recording Secretary read
Resolution #P.C. 65-84. ADDroval of Addition. Mr. Constantineau
moved for adoption. Mi. kimann seconded. Gerald Lee stated
this is single family zoned and family unit was constructed after
original single family home down in 1979. They requested and
addition for a second floor Mother-In-Law unit equal in size to
first floor. Mr. Lee further stated this area would exceed the
area allowed by the zoning ordinance and they would need a
variance. Mr. Constantineau stated it muld in fact be a duplex
if the variance were granted. Mr. Arrowood expressed concern for future buyers and turning this home into a duplex.
Mayor Salentine said the neighbors have a side by side duplex.
Mr. and Mrs. Rutzen appeared saying their was no objection from
the neighbors.
Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt Resolution #P.C. 65-84
carried with Mr. Raimann casting the only dissenting vote.

DON AND KAREN GORSKI - The Recording Secretary read
Resolution P.C. %66-84, Approval of Second Garane Structure. Mr.
Schmidt moved for adoptioi: Mr. Arrowood seconaed. A suggestion
"WHEREAS, it is proposed to change the attached garage
was made by Mr. Lee to change the Resolution P.C. #66-84 to read,
structure....", from "WHEREAS, it is proposed to eliminate the
attached garage structure.. .." Mrs. Gorski appeared before the
Commission saying the structure would house an automobile and
crafts. Mr. Schmidt asked about the driveway as the garage door
was being eliminated. Mrs. Gorski said they would park on the
grass. The original request for a second garage structure was
denied because the structure was too large and it was going to be
in front of the house. There is no neighbor objection, and the
side of the building will face the street, 20' from the lot Page

line. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt resolution
#P.C. 66-84 carried unanimously.
JERRY H. AND DEBRA L. HILL - The Recording Secretary read
Resolution P.C. {/68-84, Approval of Certified Survey map. Mr.
motion. Upon a roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
Raimann moved for adoption. Mr. Constantineau seconded the
LITTLE LAKE PROTECTION AND REHABILATION DISTRICT - The
Recording Secretary read Resolution P.C. W 69 - 84.
Approval/Disapprovd. Mayor Salentine asked for'discussion
before the roll call vote. According to Mr. Lee the soil permit
allows vegetation fill. Mr. Constantineau said this is approved
would turn to dirt. Mayor Salentine said there have been plans
for landfill not garbage, weeds. Alderman Hilt claims the weeds
Peatka, who lives across from the Landfill, appeared before the

P.C. 1/67-84, Approval/Disapproval Legal Lot Status. Mr. and Mrs.
Vermilyea appreared requesting legal lot status on lot 18 in the
Krogmann subdivision. Upon discussion, it was noted the
Vermilyeas want to sell 1 /2 of the lot. Mr. Lee said it would be
difficult to put a garage or tool shed on this size lot, and the
surrounding area is compatible with lot 18 in this immediate
block. Alderman Hilt appeared before the Commission stating his
lot is in the same area and it is 50' X 85'. Mr. Vermilyea

Discussion for Inset - Zoning Administrator Lee requested
approval for an inset map to be put on certified survey under
code 5.2. The request was granted.

Satellite Dishes - Mr. Lee asked the Recording Secretary to
explained thaf New Berlin and Hartland were the only Fwo
surrounding communities with ordinances with Waukesha having a
proposed ordinance. The Recording Secretary also reported a
nieghbor has installed a satellite dish in their front yard and
telephone call to City Hall from a Muskego resident whose
wanted to how if their were any regulations. It was the
ordinance.
