MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 7, 1984
CITY HALL
Mayor Salentine called the meeting to order at 7:20 P.M.
PRESENT: Chairman Wayne G. Salentine, Richard Arrowood, Harvey
was also present.
Boettcher and Les Constantineau. Zoning Administrator Gerald Lee
ABSENT: Secretary Edward Raimann, Jack Schmidt and Ald. Richard
Nilsson.
MINUTES: Mr. Boettcher moved to approve the minutes of the
January 3, 1984 meeting. Seconded by Mr. Arrowood, motion
carried .
NEW BUSINESS:
SCHAUMBERG'S SUBURBAN HOUSE - The Recording Secretary read
Resolution #P. C. 7-84. Approval of Flat Wall Sign. Mr.
Constantineau moved for adbption. Mr. Boettcher-seconded. Mr.
Arrowood questioned whether these flat wall signs would be taking
the place of the triangular sign that is periodically placed
outside of the restaurant indicating specialities.
Upon a roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously.
R. G. LETT - The Recording Secretary read Resolution
#P. C. 8-84, Approval of Certified Survey Map (Town of Norway).
Mr. Arrowood moved for adoption. Mr. Constantineau seconded and

LASSA/BLACK/KLENZ - The Recording Secretary read Resolution
#P. C. 9-84, Approval of Freestanding Sign. Mr. Constantineau
moved for adoption. Mr. Arrowood seconded and upon a roll call
vote, the motion carried unanimously.
JOHN GROH - The Recording Secretary read Resolution

COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS:
Mr. George Oleinik appeared before the Commission to discuss
rezoning the "Holiday Park" property owned by Tri-City
Bank. Mr. Oleinik proposed to make a subdivision that would be
under a zoning that would allow the samll businessman to own a
home and park his truck on his property. He gave examples of a
mason contractor, paving contractor, landscaping contractor,
gravel contractor, etc. He would like to create a subdivision
for this purpose at 20,000 sq. ft. and up.

Mr. Arrowood moved to adjourn the meeting at 8:30 P.M. Mr.
Boettcher seconded the motion and the motion carried.
