PCM19831206CITY OF MUSKEG0 PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 6, 1983 CITY HALL Mayor Salentine called the meeting to order at 7:OO P.M. Les Constantineau, Harvey Boettcher and Jack Schmidt. PRESENT: Chairman Wayne Salentine, Richard Arromod, Zoning Administrator Gerald Lee was also present. ABSENT: Secretary Edward Raimann and Ald. Charles Colburn. MINUTES: Mr. Arromod moved to approve the minutes of the November 15, 1983 meeting. Seconded by Mr. Boettcher, motion carried. NEW BUSINESS: FORMER MAHN PROPERTY - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. C. 142-83. Sketch ADDrOVal for a four Darcel Land Division. Mr. Schmidt moved for ahoption. Mr. ArroGod seconded the motion. Mr. Robert Klenz. Realty World. aDDeared before the Commission representing his client. Mr. Constantineau questioned Mr. K1en.z as to why the lots were so large. Mr. KlenTz stated that his office received a substantial amount of requests for lots that range anywhere around 3 to 5 acres. Mr. Klemz stated that it was more attractive to his client to sell the lots in this manner than to go through the time and costs involved in creating a subdivision with lots ranging around 1/2 acre. lots in the future. Mr. Klenz stated that they muld be receptive to submitting a deed restriction with the certified survey maps placing restrictions on lot 1, 2 and 4 stating that muld definitely like to see deed restrictions put on these lots. they could not be redivided. Mayor Salentine stated that he Mr. Constantineau also stated that he muld be in favor of smaller parcels because of this being in the TID District. Mr. Arromod stated that it does match the neighboring properties and blends in well. Zoning Administrator Lee stated that he fears what may happen in the future as far as people fighting the deed restriction because of the zoning. Mayor Salentine mentioned that the proposed special assessment, if passed, would be $2,000.00 per parcel of land. That assessment wuld have to be approved by the Common Council. and should be adopted by the time the Certified Survey Map is .I Mr. Constantineau voiced his concern of redivision of these a submitted for approval. State Supervisor. and feels that we Farmland Preservation: Mayor Salentine reported that he has have a good start on our Farmland Pres&vation.Plan. He stated that he felt it very important that all the paper work be completed prior to March 1, 1984, as the County is planning on ado ting a County Plan at that time. He felt that the State mu Y d be more lenient if there is not a County Plan in place. at the January meeting with an update on SEWRPC's 208 Zoning Administrator Lee will report back to the Commission meeting has been cancelled. Mayor Salentine announced that the December 20, I Commission plan. 1983 Plan ADJOURNMENT: Mr. Boettcher moved to adjourn at 7:43 P.M. Mr. Constantineau seconded the motion, and the motion carried.
