PCM19831115CITY OF MUSKEG0 PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 15, 1983 CITY HALL Mayor Salentine called the meeting to order at 7:05 P.M. PRESENT: Chairman Wayne Salentine, Secretary Raimann, Ald. Charles Colburn. Les Constantineau and Jack Schmidt. Zoning Administrator Gerald Lee was also present. ABSENT: Harvey Boettcher and Richard Arrowood MINUTES: Ald. Colburn moved to adopt the minutes of the November 1, 1983 meeting. Seconded by Mr. Raimann, motion carried. NEW BUSINESS: 136-83, Approval of Building, Site & Operational Plans. Mr. Schmidt moved for adoption. Ald. Colburn seconded. The was unable to make the meeting. C. 138-83, Approval of Extension of Time - Freedom Acres Addn. No. 1 Sign. Mr. Schmidt moved for adoption. Mr. Constantineau seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. GERTH - The Recording Secretary read Resolution 0 %P. Cn-83, Approval of Addition to Living Quarters. Ald. upon a roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Colburn moved for adoption. Mr. Schmidt seconded the motion and Plan Commission November 15, 1983 #P. C. 140-83, Extension of Conditional Use Grant. Ald. Colburn WASTE MANAGEMENT - The Recording Secretary read Resolution moved for adoption. Mr. Schmidt seconded the motion. Zoning Administrator Lee stated that there have been no complaints regarding the operations. Waste Management recently appeared before the Welfare Committee stating that they intended to ask for an expansion of the sanitary landfill permit in the future. It was also stated that they have submitted a request to the DNR for six more years of operations. The DNR has the power to grant this extension without the city's blessings. Zoning Administrator Lee stated that the DNR may grant a permit, but they would still obtain a permit from the local district or be in violation. MAROHLIKURER - Resolution #P. C. 141-83 was removed from the agenda. COMMUNICATIONS: FARMLAND PRESERVATION: Mayor Salentine reported to the Commission that after further conversations with Mr. Fodrozcki of the State Farmland Preservation office it is apparent that the Committee would not be receptive to our present map. It was decided that the Commissioners review the entire section and He stated that they would agree to an agriculture district as a define the areas that should be preserved in the EA District. holding district along with an EA Exclusive Agriculture District.
