PCM19830607i a CITY OF MUSKEGO PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 7, 1983 CITY HALL Mayor Salentine called the meeting to order at 8 05 P.M PRESENT: Chairman Wayne Salentine, Secretary Edward Raimann, Richard Arrowood, Ald. Charles Colburn, Les Constantineau, was also present. Harry Boettcher, and Jack Schmidt. Zoning Officer Gerald Lee fim 1983 meeting. Seconded by Jack Schmidt, motion MINUTES: Ald. Colburn moved to approve the minutes of the carried. OLD BUSINESS : DON GORSKI - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. C. 60-83, Architectural Approval/Disapproval of Second meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Gorski appeared before the Plan Com- Garage Structure which was deferred from the May 17, 1983 mission and stated that they did not wish to move the new structure in line with the old, as suggested in the previous meeting. They stated that they came to receive approval as proposed. They intend the existing attached garage to be made into living quarters, removing the overhead door. ZONING OFFICER'S REPORTS MUSKEGO TRANSPORT - Zoning Officer Lee reported on transactions that have transpired between he and Muskego Transport. Originally, Muskego Transport had been given until June 1 to show proof of asphalting and dust proofing. They have had bids out and they will proceed as soon as school is out. They have made some changes in the parking area. The approved site plan shows 80' - 120' for dust- proofing. The clarity of the ordinance is important to enforcement. Definitions should not be left all that encompassing. He discussed the importance of planning goals for tomorrow, stressing the point that the last Planning Studies made by the City of Muskego were don prior to 1963, 20 years ago He stated that the Commission is so involved in administration of the Zoning Ordinance that it fails to put the time and effort into the planning, as necessary. COMMUNICATIONS Hearing for Conditional Use for Payne & Dolan and State The Recording Secretary read notice that the Public Sand & Gravel has been changed from June 7, 1983 to June 21, 1983 at 7 45 P ,M. The Recording Secretary also read notice that the Public Hearing for Rezoning on Dale Dawson property is scheduled for The Common Council on June 28, 1983, at 7 25 P.M. The Plan Commission will review this resolution at their June 21 meeting. Mr. Arrowood stated that Bohrer's Rental Service on Janesville Road has it's sign hanging in the air by rope. The permanent sign has not been installed. Mr Constantineau questioned why the 100' police department tower has not been taken down. Zoning Officer Lee stated that they intend to take it down ADJOLJRNMENT Mr. Raimann moved to adjourn at 10 30 P.M.
