PLAN COMMISSION
0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 18, 1983
CITY HALL
Mayor Salentine called the meeting to order at 8:00 P.M.
PRESENT: Chairman Wayne Salentine, Secretary Edward Raimann,
Kichard Arrowood, Ald. Charles Colburn, Les Constantineau and
Jack Schmidt. Zoning Officer Gerald Lee was also present.
ABSENT: Laura Kilb
January 4, 1963 meeting. Seconded by Mr. Schmidt, motion carried.
MINUTES: Mr. Arrowood moved to approve the minutes of the
PERSONAL APPEARANCE^ Mr. Philip Evenson, representative of the
Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission. appeared
to make a presentation on the SEWRPC Report "A Primary Transit
System Plan for the Milwaukee Area", and to request that the
requested that if the Plan Commission determined to recommend
Plan Comnission recomend approval to the Common Council. He
denial, that he be advised of the reasons. Mayor Salentine
advised Yu. Evenson that the commission would consider the matter
further at the next meeting.
NEW BUSINESS
ANTHONY ZAWALICH - The Recording Secretary read Resolution
#P. C. 3-83, Architectural Approval of Second Garage Structure.
Mr. Raimann moved for adoption. Mr. Arrowood seconded the motion,
and upon a roll call vote the motion carried unanimously.
RONNIE REA - The Recording Secretary read Resolution
#P. C. 4-83, Architectural Approval of Second Garage Structure.
Ald. Colburn moved for adoption. Mr. Schmidt seconded the motion,
and upon a roll call vote the motion carried unanimously.

Mr. Arrowood moved for adoption. Mr. Constantineau seconded the

"THE COTTAGE" - The Recording Secretary read Resolution
, Setting Public Hearing Date - Termination of Con-
ditional Use Grant 1/54 -The Cottage Tavern(razed). Mr. Raimann
moved for adoption. Mr. Schmidt seconded the motion and upon a
roll call vote the motion carried unanimously. (3/1/83-7 55p.~.)
COMMUNICATIONS AND ANY OTHER MATTERS AUTHORIZED BY LAW:
TRANSIT SYSTEM - Several commissioners questioned the benefit
'0 to the City of Muskego of the proposed transit system in relation
to the cost involved. Some thought the plan would benefit the
anyway. A resolution will be introduced at the next meeting. City, and the City would be required to participate in the cost

MUSKEG0 TRANSPORT - Mr. Raimann read an article that
appeared in the Milwaukee Journal on 1/14/83 regarding the
acquisition of Muskego Transport, along with three other bus
companies, by National School Bus Services, Inc. of Buffalo, N.Y
ADJOURNMEhT: Mr. Raimann moved to adjourn at 8:40 P.M.
Seconded by Mr. Constantineau, motion carried.
