PLAN COMMISSION
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 18, 1981
CITY HALL
Mayor Gottfried called the meeting to order at 8:03 P.M.
PRESENT: Chairman Jerome J. Gottfried, Secretary Edward
Raimann, Richard Arrowood, Laura Kilb, Ald. Robert Klenz and
Jack Schmidt. Planning Consultant Joseph Mangiamele and
Zoning Officer Gerald P. Lee were also present
ABSENT: Walter Spann
MINUTES: The minutes of the previous meeting of August 4, 1981,
were approved as mailed.
NEW BUSINESS:
MAYNARD LEPAK - The Recording Secretary read Resolution
#P. C. 74-81, Architectural Approval of Second Garage Structure.
Ald. Klenz moved for adoption. Mr. Raimann seconded the motion,
and upon a roll call vote the motion carried unanimously.
LAKE MEADOWS - The Recording Secretary read Resolution
Mr. Arrowood moved for adoption. Mr. Schmidt seconded the
#P. C 75-81, Approval of Extension of Time - Temporary Sign.
motion, and upon a roll call vote the motion carried unanimously.
BOLDT'S BUTTER AND EGG PLANT - The Recording Secretary read
Resolution #P. C. 76-81, Approval of Revised Building, Site and
Operational Plan. Mr. Raimann moved for adoption. Mrs. Kilb
seconded the motion, and upon a roll call vote the motion carried
unanimously.
ZONING OFFICER'S REPORTS
TOWN & COUNTRY DISPOSAL - Zoning Officer Lee reported on
Town and Countrv's reauest for a conditional use auoroval from
the City of New-Berlii for a recylcing center which'would include
building, to be located on Racine Avenue between College Ave.
a garage, office, truck repair area and separation and compacting
and the freeway ramp A public hearing will be held in New Berlin
Mangiamele to research this master and report his thoughts on
on Sept. 14th. Ald. Klenz moved to request Planning Consultant
possible future problems and the zoning in the area at the next
Plan Commission meeting. Seconded by Mr. Schmidt, motion carried.
FARMLAND PRESERVATION - Mr. Lee reported on an assembly
bill introduced regarding the Farmland Preservation Act.

DURHAM MEADOWS ADDN. NO. 1 - The Recording Secretary read
the minutes of the public hearing held August 11, 1981 by the
Couunon Council. Zoning Officer Lee was requested to again
check the actual parcel rezoned to PUD, and to clarify if this
is actually a part of the Durham Meadows planned unit development
or should be developed as a separate development Concern was
was requested to advise Ray Gray to take another look at the
again expressed regarding the access to Hwy. 24. Mayor Gottfried
proposal and to check with the State regarding access to Hwy. 24.
ADJOURNPENT: Mr. Raimann moved to adjourn at 8 55 P.M.
