PLAN COMMISSION
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 21, 1981
CITY HALL
Mayor Gottfried called the meeting to order at 8 00 P.M.
PRESENT: Chairman Jerome J. Gottfried, Secretary Edward
Raimann, Richard Arrowood, Laura Kilb, Ald. Robert Klenz and
Jack Schmidt. Planning Consultant Joseph Mangiamele and
Zoning Officer Gerald Lee were also present.
ABSENT: Walter Spann
Mayor Gottfried advised Ald. Klenz that since he had been
just prior to this meeting, he could abstain from voting on the
elected to serve as Council Representative to the Plan Commission
resolutions presented this evening.

32-81, Approval of Freestanding Sign. Mr. Arrowood moved for

ZONING OFFICER'S REPORT
MUSKEG0 BEER & LIQUOR - Zoning Officer Lee reported that
when the Plan Commission approved the expansion of the conditional
on May 1, 1979, the approval was subject to the condition that
use for the purpose of constructing the addition to the beer depot

the existing driveway on Center Drive be reduced to 30' in
width and that it be located a minimum of 25' from the stop
sign at the intersection of Center Drive and Janesville Road,
which would require 18' of the existing asphalt to be removed.
Commission to request that condition be removed because he felt
more safety hazards are evident with the driveway moved. The
matter was referred to the Public Safety Committee, and on
March 19, 1981 they suggested that additional curbing along
Center Drive not be required.
