MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 18, 1980
CITY HALL
Mayor Gottfried called the meeting to order at 8:20 P.M.
PRESENT: Chairman Jerome J. Gottfried, Secretary Edward
Raimann. Richard Arrowood, Laura Kilb, Ald. Wayne Salentine,
Jack Schmidt and Walter Spann. Planning Consultant Mangiamele
and Zoning Officer Gerald Lee were also present.
MINUTES: The minutes of the previous meeting of October 21,
1980 were approved as mailed.
NEW BUSINESS :
#P. C. 108 -80, Approval of Conditional Use Grant - Duplex.
THOMAS BERKEN - The Recording Secretary read Resolution
Ald. Salentine m&ed for adoption. Mr. Spann seconded the
motion. It was noted that the public hearing was held just prior
to this regular meeting. Upon a roll call vote the motion
carried unanimously.
LAND DIVISION ORDINANCE - The Recording Secretary read
Resolution #P. C. 109 - 80 , Recommendation to Amend Land Division
Ordinance (Section 2.4 and 3.0). Mr. Arrowood moved for adop-
tion. Mr. Schmidt seconded the motion. It was noted that the
public hearing was held just prior to this regular meeting. Upon a roll call vote the motion carried unanimously. 0

Conditional Use Grant: Mr. Arrowood-moved for Hdoption. Mr.
Raimann seconded the motion, and upon a roll call vote the motion
carried unanimously.
ROGER AND DEBRA COUCH - The Recording Secretary read Reso-
lution /,P. C. 112 - 80 , Approval of Revised Operational Plan.
Mr. Spann moved for adoption. Ald. Salentine seconded the motion,
and upon a roll call vote the motion carried unanimously.
DISCUSSION
PROPOSED REZONING - Mayor Gottfried reported that Ald. Weed
of Hwy. 24 and Woodland Place. In an effort to update our zoning
expressed concern about the multiple family zoning in the area

8 map, it night be well to also review the RS-3, B-3, B-4 and RSA areas in the same vicinity (the Luedtke, Wollman, Kurth
and Diekfuss properties) with the consideration to rezoning
these areas to RS-2. Planning Consultant Mangiamele was requested
to study these areas and prepare a report.
COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS
had written to Mayor Malone advising him that the City of Muskego
could not agree to the extension of Moorland Road intersecting
Hwy. 24 at Tess Corners Drive as recommended by the City of New
Berlin due to the existing congestion in that area. We will meet
with Ralph Becker, Public Works Director, to show him how the
bank, may be extended someday thru parkways. One of Mr. Becker's
route preferred by Muskego, which intersects Hwy. 24 near the
main concerns is to establish the best route for citizens of New
Berlin to travel southeasterly to Hwy. 100.
Moorland Road Extension - Mayor Gottfried reported that he
Committee did not meet in October so therefore no reDort was
Muskego Beer Depot - Mayor Gottfried reported that the Safety
presented. The Public Works committee will also revyew the
situation at the intersection of Center and Hwy. 24, and a report
should be presented at the next meeting. a not yet responded to the recommendations made by the Plan Commission.
ADJOURNMENT: Mr Raimann moved to adjounat 8:50 P.M. Seconded
by Mr. Arrowood, motion carried.
