PCM19800805CITY OF MUSKEGO PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 5, 1980 Mayor Gottfried called the meeting to order at 8 05 P.M. PRESENT Chairman Jerome Gottfried, Edward Raimann, Secretary, Richard Arrowood, Ald. Wayne Salentine, Laura Kilb, Walter Spann and Jack Schmidt. Zoning Officer Gerald Lee was also present. MINUTES The minutes of the previous meeting held July 15, 1980 were approved as mailed. NEW BUSINESS: LAKE MEADOWS - The Acting Recording Secretary read Resolution #P.C 73-80, Approval of Extension of Time - Temporary Sign Ald. Salentine moved for adoption. Mr. Raimann seconded the motion. Extension of time to be for a one year period. Upon a roll call vote the motion carried unanimously. WILLIAM J. GODSELL - The Acting Recording Secretary read Resolution #P.C. 74-80. Denial of Request for Land Division. Ald. Salentine moved for adoption. Mr. Arrowood seconded the motion. Present at the meeting was Surveyor Claude Johnson, Heindicated that he felt the proposed division met the intent of the Land Division Ordinance Mayor Gottfried advised that requests for legal lot status have and that the variances necessary would only be 12%% i.n average width. . this request. Upon a roll call vote the motion to adopt carried previously been denied by the Common Council on variances less than unanimously. DONALD PRUSINSKI - The Acting Recording Secretary read Resolution Mr. Raimann moved for adoption. Mr. Arrowood seconded the motion. 7lP.C. 15-80, Approval of Change of Use of Non-Conforming Structure. Mr. Prusinski who was present at the meeting stated his firm was a design engineering firm. He indicated that only a small identification sign, probably placed in the window, would be needed. He also advised a roll call vote the motion to adopt carried unanimously. the parking area would accommodate only four or five vehicles. Upon LINDA AND DAVID BARROWS - The Acting Recording Secretary read Resolution #P.C 76-80, Referral to Planning Consultant and Setting Public Hearing Date - Request for Dog Kennel. Ald Salentine moved the motion carried. (Public Hearing scheduled 9/2/80 at 7 45 p M.) for adoption. Mr. Spann seconded the motion Upon a roll call vote COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS THOMAS BERKEN - The Acting Recording Secretary read a communication from Thomas Berken, dated 7/23/80, advising he has withdrawn his petition to rezone a parcel of land at the intersection of Lannon Drive and Briargate Lane. They also reviewed the proposed sanitary sewer service area in the city. It was meetinz. Why the islands of developable land surrounded by environmental corridor - can they be developed or served by public sewer? Does the environmental corridor expand outward from Big Muskego Lake too far? Why are Ian& muth of Big Muskego Lake and Big Muskego Lake's canal not included in the prirary corridor? ( SECONDARY 1.
