Mayor Gottfried called the meetine to order at 8 11 P.M.
Ald. bJayne Salentine, Laura Kilb and Fred Lavey Planninp
PRESENT Chairman Jerome Gottfried, Secretary Edward Raimann,
Consultant Joseph Mangiamele and Zoning Officer Gerald Lee were
also present.

adoption. Mrs. Kilb seconded the motion.
Mr. Larry Thompson stated that he would be willing to
eliminate the third sign and reduce the reauested signage frorr

commission.

Mayor Gottfried declared a short recess at 9:OZ P.M. The
meeting reconvened at 9:12 P.M.
FARMLAND PRESERVATION ACT - Mayor Gottfried acknowledped
the meeting, and introduced Mr. Randall Melody of the Waukesha the presence of many area farmers who had been invited to attend
County Park and Planning Commission who was present to outline
the law as it exists and the procedure necessary to obtain any
possible benefits. After the presentation, Mr. Melody fielded
questions from those in attendance.
Mayor Gottfried requested that those present let the City
know their feelings in regard to this prograv.
