PRESENT: Chairman Jerome Gottfried, Secretary Edward Raimann, Richard Arrowood, Ald. Ed Dumke, Laura Kilb, Fred Lavey and Wayne Salentine. NEW BUSINESS : POLE BARN - CIVIC CENTER - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. C. 165-77 (Approval/Disapproval) of Building, Site and Operational Plans - Pole Barn Storage Structure - Civic Center Site. Mr. Salentine moved for adoption with word "Approve" inserted in second paragraph. Mr. Lavey seconded the motion. Charles Damaske stated the structure would be constructed with pine boards and battan strips, painted russet brown with white trim and have wood shingles. The double gable roof line has been added to more conform with the other buildings proposed for the site. 165-77 carried unanimously. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt.Resolution #P. C. JOHN STENDER - The Recording Secretary read Resolution WP. C. 166-77 - Denial of Sketch for Land Division, John Stender. Mr. Raimann moved for adoption. Mr. Arrowood seconded the motion. Mr. Stender stated he would like a two parcel division, so that two dwellings could be constructed at this time, leaving the balance of the land for future development. Zoning Officer Lee created. Mayor Gottfried indicated a certified survey map would stated that with the one parcel division, two parcels would be have to be submitted before a division would take place. 166-77 carried unanimously. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt Resolution #P. C. GLENN ELGER - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. C. Elger. Mr. Lavey moved for adoption. Mr. Salentine seconded the 167-77, Architectural Approval of Second Garage Structure - Glenn motion and the motion carried unanimously. ST. C. 169-77, Approval of Certified Survey Map, Kastello-Schwefel Planning Consultant Mangiamele presented suggested landscaping plans which would improve the appearance from Highway 24. Mr. Arrowood moved for adoption. Mr. Lavey seconded the motion and the motion carried unanimously. KENNETH H. RIGGS - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. PLANNING CONSULTANT'S REPORTS DANDILION PARK - Planning Consultant Mangiamele reported on the sketches submitted October 18th - the first indicating 40 multi- family and 67 single family, and the second showing 75 single family units. He pointed out that the depth of the commercial property had been increased. Ee presented an overlay showing the lots without -landscaping, and indicated there are some odd shaped lots and-some too small. Mr. Masterson introduced Mr. Rich Kuckkahn of Landform Plan- ning, Inc. to the Commission to present a revised sketch, which shows 69 single family lots, with 17 on the lake. A 3 acre open space has been created for access to the lake, but with no beach provided because of the lack of parking space. With a PUD approach, Mr. Kuckkahn stated an amusement park motiff could be included - such things as street signs, using some of the old wood, benches, etc. by the Park 5oard. lie also stated that an area for swimming was like to see a dedication of land for park purposes, to be developed desirable. Discussion will be made with the county highway department regarding this matter. COMMUNICATIONS E. MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS DON MILLER - Discussion was held regarding the sketch sugges- ted by the planner to provide a single family strip as a transi- tion to the 16 family apartment proposed by Don Miller. Since the density on the sketch presented was too high, Mr. Miller was requested to bring in some other sketches.
