Future sewer plans indicate that sewers will be available to the
area in the Northwest District, NW 3, NW 4 and NW 5; however not for another
7 years or more. A sewer line will be brought down the valley area between
the Ridges and the hill on which the former defense was located. Given the
top0 conditions, the natural growth areas and the future sewer development,

of the soils maps that such a recommendation might be made. For these above
reasons, a more detailed housing development scheme for the area has been
with held as such a development might prove to be entirely unfeasible both from
a site standpoint and from an economic basis. The final data and recomend-
ation will be presented at the next plan commission meeting.

Wayne Foster -- Planned Unit Development
The planning consultant has met with Mr. Poster and the engineer for the
development and approved certain changes in the plan. As PUD proposals are
intended to nuke a comprehensive approach to development, the planner re-
commends that the plan commission be informed of the type of development
that is to take place in the parcel to the Northwest. Without this
complete approach, we would be approving only a part of the planned develop-
ment. This tends to operate against a true planned unit approach to land
development.
