PCM19761221CITY OF MUSKEGO PLAN COMMISSION MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 21, 1976 CITY HALL Mayor Gottfried called the meeting to order at 8:25 P. M. PRESENT: Chairman Jerome Gottfried, Secretary Edward Raimann, Ald. Charles Colburn, Laura Kilb, Fred Lavey and Wayne Salentine. Planning Consultant Joseph Mangiamele and Zoning Officer Gerald Lee were also present. ABSENT: Richard Arrowood MINUTES: The minutes of the previous meeting of December 7, 1976 were approved as mailed. Mrs. Kilb seconded the -76, Approval of Expansion of Conditional Use motion. Mr.. Bohrer spoke in opposition to .the requirement in the resolution that the'parking area serving the:present building be asphalted by December 1, ,1977.; that .it would be his .intention to. upgrade his property as~business:develops,in that-area. Mayor -Gottfri-ed spoke'-in .favor of .the'asphalt-requirement..: After -further discussion, Ald. Colburn moved to amend Resolution #P. C. 141-76 by removing condition $12. Mr. Salentine seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote, the motion carried with Mayor Gottfried casting the only dissenting vote. Upon a roll call vote to adopt Resolution #P. Racine ) DATE : December 21, 1976 - Future sewer plans indicate that sewers will be available to the area in the Northwest District, NW 3, NW 4 and NW 5; however not for another 7 years or more. A sewer line will be brought down the valley area between the Ridges and the hill on which the former defense was located. As PUD proposals are intended to nuke a comprehensive approach to development, the planner re- commends that the plan commission be informed of the type of development that is to take place in the parcel to the Northwest. Without this complete approach, we would be approving only a part of the planned develop- ment. This tends to operate against a true planned unit approach to land development.
