PRESENT: 'Chairman Jerome Gottfried, Sec'y Ed-Raimann, R.,Arrowood Charles Colburn, Blair Dixon, Laura Kilb, and Wayne Salentine Planning Consultant Joseph Mangiamele and Zoning Officer Lee were also present. MINUTES: The minutes of the previous meeting of May 18, 1976, were approved as mailed. NEW BUSINESS VALLEYWOOD GOLF COURSE - It was noted by the Commission thx the Architectural Sub-committee had met just prior to this regu'~-. meeting to consider a sign request for Valleywood Golf Course. Tkt? Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. C 57-76, (Approval / - Disapproval) of Sign. Mr. Raimann moved for the adoption of Resolution #P. C. 57 75, Disapproval of Sign. Mayor Gottfried advised the Commission that from a planning uses should be in that location, that the city has avfficient standpoint their main concern should be if a church and rqlated contrals in their ordinances~ to protect the city. Upon a roll call vote to -adopt Resolution #P. C 61-76, Mayor Gottfried, Mr.. Arrowood, Mr. Raimann and Mr; Salentine voted ''yes'', Ald. Colburn, Mr. Dixon and Mrs. Kilb voted "no" and the motion carried. During discussion, the Commissioners expressed concern at the 0 MUSKEG0 VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT. SUB-STATION - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. C. 62-76, Referral to Planning Consultant. Mr. Raimann moved for adoption. Mr. Arrowood seconded the motion. Ald. Colburn advised that the residents in the vicinity had expressed overwhelming opposition to the location of a subystation on that property and moved to amend Resolution #Pa C 62-76, the last paragraph to be revised to read: "Therefore be it resolved that the Plan Commission of the City of Muskego does hereby recom- mend to the Common Council that this petition submitted by Muskego-. Volunteer Fire Co. to rezone a parcel of property to RS-2 with an OIP overlay to permit.a sub-station be denied." Mr. Arrowood seconded the motion. Mayor Gottfried spoke in favor of the original resolution to refer the matter to the planning consultant for review and recommen- dation. Gottfried and Mr. Raimann voted "no" Mr. Dixon, Mrs. Kilb and Mr. Salentine voted "yes" and the motion and Mr. Arrowood, Al,d Colburn, carried. Amended, the motion carried unanimously.
