PCM19760518CITY OF MUSKEG0 PIAN COMMISSION MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 18, 1976 CITY HALL Mayor Gottfried called the meeting to order at 8:25 P. M. PRESENT: Chairman Jerome Gottfried, Richard Arrowood, Blair Dixon, Ald. Charles Colburn, Laura Kilb and Wayne Salentine. Planning Consultant Mangiamele and Zoning Officer Lee were also present. ABSENT: Ed Raimann MINUTES: The minutes of the previous meeting of May 4, 1976, were approved as mailed. NEW BUSINESS SIEGER OLDS - It was noted by the Cmission that the Archi- tectural Sub-cmittee had met just prior to this regular meeting to consider a sign request for Sieger Olds. The Recording Secretary read Resolution SIP. C. 48-76, (Approval / Disapproval) of Sign. Mr. Dixon moved to adopt Resolution #P. C. 48-76, Approval of Sign. Mr. Arrowood seconded the motion. Mr. Dixon moved to amend Resolution SIP. C. 48-76 with the addition of the following two paragraphs: "Be it further resolved as defined in Section 5.02 (2) F. and G. of the Muskego Zoning that said sign shall not be permitted in the visual setback area Ordinance. Be it further.lesolved that there shall be no parking motion and the motion carried unanimously upon a roll call vote. of cars in this visual setback area." Mr. Arrowood seconded the #P. C. 48-76 As Amended carried unanimously. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt Resolution Architectural Sub-cmittee had met jGi prior to this regular meeting to consider a sign request for Dick's Farm Market. The Recording Secretary read Resolution SIP. C. 49-76, (Approval / Disapproval) of Sign. Mr. Dixon moved to adopt Resolution #P. C. 49-76, Approval of Sign. Mr. Arrowood seconded the motion. Mr. Arrowood moved to amend Resolution #P. C. 49-76, the resolution then to read as follows: "Be it resolved that the Plan Conunission does hereby, upon recomnendation of the Archi- tectural Sub-cmittee, disapprove a 5' x 9', portable sign to be located at the east entrance pf Dick's Farm Market, S98 W12575 Loomis Road. Be it further resolved that the Plan Comnis- committee, approve two 3 112' x 8', sandwich signs to be located sion does hereby, upon recmendation of the Architectural Sub- as follows - one sandwich sign north of the south entrance and one sandwich sign east of the east entrance." Mr. Dixon seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 49-76 As Amended carried unanimously. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt Resolution WP. C. Ald. Dumke expressed concern at the setback requirements for the Signs. ROBERT RIPP - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P.-C. 53-76, Denial of Sketch for Land Division. Mr. Dixon moved for adoption. Mr. Salentine seconded the motion. Lee dated May 18, 1976, and the report and recommendation for denial from Planning Consultant Mangiamele, also dated May 18, 1976. was granted because of private sewage disposal systems and that that the Board of Appeals had joined the lots when a variance now that sewers are available the lots should be separated. with Ald. Colburn casting the only dissenting vote. The Recording Secretary read the report from Building Inspector Mr. Ripp advised the Commission that it was his opinion After discussion, upon a roll call vote, the motion carried HARVEY COX - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. C. 54-76, Approval to Replat ExistinG Lots. Mr. Dixon moved for adoption. Mr. Salentine seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. 55776, Approval of Sketch for Land Division.
