PCM19731106I PLAN COMMISSION 1 CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUI'ES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 6, 1973 CITY HALL Mayor Gottfried called the meeting to order at 8:17 P. M. PRESENT: Chairman Jerome Gottfried, Secretary Alvin Basse, Kenneth Czaplewski, Edward Raimann and Donald Yahr. Planning Consultant Joseph Mangiamele and Zoning Officer Gerald Lee were also present. I ABSEm: Blair Dixon and Ald. Paul Schaumberg I MINUTES: The minutes of the previous meeting of October 16, 1973, were approved as mailed. I I AGENDA ITEMS #P. C. 100-73 - Approval of Final Plat - Lakeview Hills is on the LAKEVIEW HILLS - It was noted by the Commission that Resolution floor, however, action was deferred at the last meeting to give Mr. Narlock an opportunity to reach an agreement with the two property owners to the south of the development (Bowyers and Stoeckers) and to return to the Commission with the agreement. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt Resolution #P. C. 135-73 was unanimously defeated. JEROME DRUGS - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. C. 136-73 - Sign Approval. Mr. Czaplewski moved for adoption. Mr. Raimann seconded the motion. that his is the only store which will have an entrance on the east of the shopping center, that signs will not be permitted on the south side of the mall except for a single sign advertising the businesses in the shopping center. Mr. Basse seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote the motion carried unanimously PLANNER' S REPORTS A & P FOOD STORE - Planning Consultant Mangiamele advised that although he had recommended a 6' high brick wall for screening between the A & P property and the residential district, they have proposed a 6' high, sturdy, basketweave fence which he has approved. Zoning Officer Lee pointed out that the fence will be painted white, and that the fence will be located on the Hugh McGrorty property and maintained by the McGrorty's. COMMUNICATIONS & MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS A communication from City Attorney Buckley dated October 23, 1973, regarding the resurfacing of parking areas as a condition for approving signs was reviewed and placed on file. A communication from Harold DeBack, chairman of the Muskego Property Owner's Association, dated November 5, 1973, regarding the proposed zoning district map was read by the Recording Secretary, same placed on file. a Page 4 - Plan Commission November 6, 1973 November 1, 1973, had been received from George Oleinik granting a 30 day extension of time for action on the preliminary plat for the Oleinik Subdivision in the Town of Vernon. The Recording Secretary advised that a communication dated November 1, 1973, had been received from Roger Johnson granting a 30 day extension of time for action on the preliminary plat for the Shagbark Subdivision.
