PCM19730807CITY OF MUSKEG0 CITY PLAN COMMISSION MINVTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 7, 1973 CITY HALL Mayor Gottfried called the meeting to order at 8:05 P. M. PRESENT: Chairman Jerome Gottfried, Secretary Alvin Basse, Kenneth Mangiamele and Zoning Officer Gerald Lee were also present. Ald. Paul Czaplewski, Blair Dixon and Edward Raimann. Planning Consultant Joseph Schaumberg arrived at 8:55 P. M. ABSENT: Donald Yahr MINVTES: The minutes of the previous meeting of July 17, 1973, were approved as mailed. PERSONAL APPFARASZS """" regard to Resolution #P. C. 86-73 entitled Denial of Conditional Use Grant for John Kapsos. The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. C. 86-73. Mr. Czaplewski moved for adoption. Mr. Dixon seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote the motion carried unanimously. Mangiamele to prepare a study of the areas at the corner of Martin and Martin Drive to determine the most desirable usage for these properties. JOHN KAPSaS - Mr. Kapsos, Richfield, Wisconsin, was present in Mayor Gottfried and the Commission directed Planning Consultant 0 Drive and Topaz Drive and the triangle at the corner of College Ave. JACK RADTKE - Mr. Radtke, developer, and Mr. Donald Polzin, engi- neer, appeared in regard to a planned unit development proposed for the north side of McShane Road in Section 12. C. 66-73.entitled was noted by the Commission that this resolution is on the floor, however, action was deferred at the July 3rd meeting pending decisions by the Sewer Committee and Common Council. Mr. Radtke and Mr. Polzin presented for the Commission'e review a revised plan for the planned unit development which had been prepared by Hoffmann, Polzin, Becker & Associates. Zoning Officer Lee reported that satisfactory percolation results had been submitted. Upon a roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. THOMAS FERGUSON - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. C. 88-73 entitled Referral to Planning Consultant and City Engineer - Request to Fill Ferguson Property. Mr. Basse moved for adoption. Mr. Dixon seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. DURHAM DRIVE - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. C. 89-73 entitled Approval of the Relocation of Durham Drive. Mr. Dixon moved for adoption. Mr. Czaplewski seconded the motion. Zoning Officer Lee reviewed the road plans which had been submitted by Highway Commissioner, V. F. Demshar. Upon a roll call vote, the motion carried with Mayor Gottfried, Mr. Basse, Mr. Czaplewski, Mr. Raimann and Ald. Schaumberg voting "yestl and Mr. Dixon voting "no". SUNSET FARMS - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. C. 90-73 Mr. Basse moved for adoption. Mr. Raimann seconded the motion. The entitled Approval of Preliminary Plat for Sunset Farms (Town of Vernon). Commission discussed the city's position concerning the extra-territorial jurisdiction relatiWe.$owhether or not the city should be concerned with a subdivision which would not affect its roads or drainage. Mr. Czaplewski Gottfried, Mr. Czaplewski, Mr. Dixon, Mr. Raimann and Ald. Schaumberg iioted "yes", Mr. Basse voted "notf and the motion to defer carried-upon a roll call vote. moved to defer action. Mayor August 7, 1973 Page 3 - Plan Commission ZONING MAP UP-DATE - It was noted by the Commission that Resolution #P. c. 75 73 the Revised Zoning District Map, is on the floor, however, action on same was deferred at the last meeting. The Commission reviewed and discussed the revised map. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt Resolution #P. C. 75-73 carried unanimeusly. ADJOURNMENT: Mr. Dixon moved for adjournment at 10:32 P.
