PRESENT: Chairman Jerome Gottfried, Secretary Alvin Basse, Kenneth Planning Consultant Joseph Mangiamele and Zoning Officer Gerald Lee Czaplewski, Edward Raimann, Ald. Paul Schaumberg and Donald Yahr. were also present. ABSENT: Blair Dixon MINUTES: The minutes of the previous meeting of March 6, 1973, were approved as mailed. """"" PERSONAL APPEARANCES DONAID MILLER - The Recording Secretary read Resolution #P. C. adoption. Ald. Schaumberg seconded the motion. 30-73, Approval of Sketch for Land Division. Mr. Raimann moved for the existing development taking place in the immediate area. Zoning Officer Lee reviewed those uses which would be permitted in the RS-2 OHS District pointing out that Mr. Miller intended that the lots be recommended that these lots be developed residentially to be compatible with the immediate development in the area. He also recommended that the OHS overlay zoning be removed from the proposed three lots. The Commission discussed screening between the highway service district on Janesville Road and the proposed lots which will abut Vine Street. The Recording Secretary read a portion of the minutes of May 4, 1971, Miller's office building. concerning the screening requirement for the rear lot line behind Mr. the following: "Be it further resolved that this approval is granted subject to the receipt of sufficient assurance that the screening which was required in the approval given for Conditional Use Grant #57 May 4, 1971, will be provided and subject to the removal of the OHS overlay zoning." Mr. Yahr seconded the motion and the motion carried. and Mr. Yahr voted "yes", Mr. Basse and Mr. Czaplewski voted "no" and the motion to adopt Resolution #P. C. 30-73 As Amended carried. Mr. Czaplewski seconded the motion. of this sign suggesting that a 6' x 6' sign would be a more reasonable Planning Consultant Mangiamele expressed concern at the size size. He suggested that the Commission consider some type of sign control regulations. carried unanimously. Mayor Gottfried declared recess at 9:30 P. M. and the meeting reconvened at 9:50 P. M. C. 35-73 ""-""""" PLANNING CONSULTAm'S REPORTS KURTZE LANE - The Commission reviewed a proposed traffic pattern for Kurtze Lane which had been submitted at the last meeting. Dr. Mangiamele submitted an alternate traffic pattern for review and discussion.
