PRESENT: Chairman Jerome Gottfried, Secretary Alvin Basse, Kenneth Czaplewski, Edward Raimann, Ald. Paul Schaumberg and Donald Yahr. were also present. The Recording Secretary reported that the consulting engineers, Ruekert & Mielke, had reviewed the final plat and had recommended approval of the physical characteristics. carried unanimously. C. 1-73 SUBDIVISION CONTROL ORDINANCE - It was noted by the Commission that kesolution #P. C. 5-72 was on the floor, however, action had been deferred at the last meeting to give the members.aa opportunity to review the revised ordinance. of the Land Division Ordinance for the City of Muskego dated January 2, 1973, which suggested some technical changes to the proposed new subdivision control ordinance. KURTZE LANE - Dr. Mangiamele reviewed the following report prepared January 2, 1973, concerning the status of Kurtze Lane: "Several field trips and surveys were made including a study of in this area. the property boundaries. The ownership situation is quite confusing for a public road. However, there appear to be more important aspects of city interest than the mere road right-of-way. The housing conditions of the various residences and their nearness to each other and their relationship to the lake present some deterior- ating environmental conditions that require more city analysis. This is an area which after the recent lake improvement also requires some upgrading. The provision of a private road may only postpone the needed overall improvement approach to the area. RECOMMENDATION: It is therefore recommended that a study be made to determine what efforts need to be made to upgrade this ge.nera1 area and put off making a decision on the circulation problems until broader approaches can be taken.''
