Mayor Gottfried called the meeting to order at 8:06 P. M.
PRESENT: Chairman Jerome Gottfried, Ald. Robert Burgermeister,
Consultant Joseph Mangiamele and Zoning Officer Gerald Lee were also

ABSENT: Secretary Alvin Basse, Engineer Clark Barry and Willard
Bertram.
MINUTES: The minutes of the previous meeting of December 7th. 1971,
were approved as mailed.

RAY GRAY - WILLIAM SCHMIDT PROPERTY - Mr. Ray Gray of Rite dealty
Corp. and Architect William Paschke apveared seeking amroval of a
general development plan for the Wiliiam Schmidt property in Section
1. Mr. Paschke reviewed a revised layout for the 88 acre property
and Mr. Gray reviewed the following communication dated December 21st,
1971, directed to the Mayor and Plan Commission from Jack L. LaBonte,
president of Rite Realty Corp.:
"Gentlemen:

Drive. We proposed to develop this 90 acre farm which is presently
zoned RS-2 as a planned development under Section 6.02 of the Muskego
Zoning Ordinance. Listed below are some characteristics of the proposed

1. There will be approximately 168 single family units and 14 two
family units for a total of approximately 196 units.
2. The single family units, with lot, will have a value from
$27,000 to $35,000 and the two family from $35,000 to $40,000.
3. The improvements for this planned development will be sanitary
sewer, individual wells and paved streets.
4. There will be a 5 1/2 acre public park located within this
planned development.
5. There will be a large open space consisting of approximately
5 1/2 acres for the private use of the homeowners. Also interspersed

ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT - B-4 District - The following
communication dated December 20th, 1971, directed to the City Plan
Commission from Mayor Gottfried was read by the Recording Secretary:
"Gentlemen:
has recommended that the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Muskego be
amended to provide that filling stations be permitted in the €3-4
District as a conditional use in the same manner as they are permitted
in the B-1, 0-2 and B-3 Districts. They have also recommended the
500 feet limitations be extended to 1500 feet.
