PRESENT: Mayor Jerome Gottfried, Chairman, Clark Barry, Willard Bertram, Ald. Robert Burgermeister, William Chase, Ald. Harold DeBack and Edward Raimann. Planning Consultant Joseph Mangiamele and Zoning Officer Lee were also present. ABSENT: Alvin Basse MINUTES: The minutes of the previous meeting of July 6th, 1971, were approved as mailed. PERSONAL APPEARANCES """"" plats for Willow Wood Subdivision in Sections 1 and 12 owned by Frank Agenten and for Lincolnshire Subdivision on the east corner of Woods Road and Tess Corners Drive in Sections 1 and 2 owned by Holz-Inman Corporation, both of which had been prepared by Inman, Inc. It was noted by the Commission that action had been deferred on these plats at the last Plan Commission meeting pending review by the city's engineer and planner of the sewer and road patterns in these subdivisions in relationship to the development of adjacent properties. Wood Subdivision (Mancuso and Foelkner properties) could be served by sewer from Tess Corners Drive, that all other properties in the immediate area of the two subdivisions would have access to sewer and roads and would not necessarily have to depend on any extensions from the subdivisions in question. Dr. Mangiamele recommended that both preliminary plats be approved. Mr. Agenten, owner of Willow Wood, was present and advised the Commission that there is a temporary cul de sac roughed in to be used for the termination of Skylark Lane until such a time as it is extended to Tess Corners Drive. Burgermeister moved to approve the preliminary plat and certified survey map for this division subject to receipt of satisfactory percolation tests and review by the technical staff. Mr. Raimann seconded the motion and the motion carried. RAY GRAY - Mr. Gray, representative of Rite Realty Corp., appeared for preliminary discussion of the development of the William Schmitt property in Section 1. He submitted a topographic layout proposing 165 lots for 130 single family units and 30 two-family units under a plamned development on the 88 acre parcel. The Commission noted that this is an RS-2 District and after considerable discussion the following motions resulted: pending the results of the Planning Consultant's study of the Ald. SPIRER - At the Plan Commission meeting April 20, 1971, the Commission deferred action on the proposed certified survey map for the Spirer property on Martin Drive pending clarification of the width of the right-of-way, Martin Drive, indicated as 85'. The Commission now reviewed a proposed certified survey map prepared by Inman, Inc., which now indicates Martin Drive as being 100' which will reduce the size of the lots considerably.
