PRESENT: Mayor Jerome Gottfried, Chairman, Alvin Basse, Willard Bertram, Ald. Robert Burgermeister, Ald. Charles Foldy and Edward Raimann. Planning Consultant Joseph Mangiamele was also present. ABSENT: Charles Buehler and Zoning Officer Gerald Lee MINUTES: The minutes of the previous meeting of January 5, 1971, were approved as mailed. """"" PERSONAL APPFAFUNCES CHARLES KANNARD - MOOSE LODGE - Mr. Kannard and Attorney Jack Radtke appeared as representatives of the Moose Lodge in regard to their petition for a conditional use grant to allow the construction and operation of a private lodge on approxi- mately 7.5 acres of the Alma Baas property on Mystic Drive in Section 14. At their previous meeting, the Commission had requested information indicating the size and appearance of the proposed building, how it will be situated on the property, recreational activities being considered and approximate hours of operation. Mr. Kannard also pointed out that the certified survey map will indicate ownership of the proposed road, Mystic Court, by the Moose Lodge. Ald. Burgermeister moved to approve the conditional use grant and land division subject to receipt of the revised certi- fied survey map. Ald. Foldy seconded the motion and the motion carried. of Lot 9. The Commission noted that the quit claim deed submitted is for a 50' extension at the east end of proposed East Drive, that the remainder of this road west to Muskego Drive is reserved with a small portion dedicated. A 5' strip of land was presumably added of these lots. The map also shows the location of a bridge which to the west side of Gold Drive making a 50' road in the proximity angles across the right-of-way causing a reverse curve in the pavement. The bridge is about 200' north of the lots in question and the division of same should in no way interfere with the future new bridge construction and road realignment. As for a future street widening is concerned, if more than a 50' width is required, the setback requirement could be increased after due study and proper procedure.
