PRESENT: Mayor Jerome Gottfried, Chairman, Charles Buehler, Sec'y, Alvin Basse, Ald. Robert Burgermeister, Ald. Charles Foldy and Ed Raimann. Planning Consultant Jos eph Mangiamele and Zoning Officer Lee were also present. ABSENT: Willard Bertram MINmES: The minutes of the previous meeting of October 6, 1970, were approved as mailed. PERSONAL APPEARANCES """"" SAM LAWENT - Mr. Lawent, developer representing Parkland Plaza map dated September 20, 1970, which had been prepared by Clarence planned development, appeared seeking approval of a certified survey H. Mr. Lawent advised that they will begin grading this week even though the state approvals have not been received as yet. It was noted by the Commission that they had approved the location of the proposed building September 15, 1970, between the roller coaster and ballroom. Mr. Masterson submitted plans which had been prepared by Wick Building Systems, Inc., September 23, 1970. He advised the Commission that the color of the building will be "zinc", that it is his in- tention to plant approximately 100 trees next spring which will include silver and red maples as well as the faster growing varieties, that trees will be planted to provide screeningfar the new building. Mr. Basse moved to grant architectural approval for this building. Mr. Buehler seconded the motion and the motion carried. le Inc., presently located at 11261 West Forest Home Ave., in Hales Corners, appeared seeking approval to divide a 2.2 acre parcel of property from the Ada Butcher property in the Industrial Park (1-1 District) in the Tess Corners Area. LOGAN JARMAN - Mr. Jarman, representative of Jarman Equipment, I Page 3 - Plan Commission October 20, 1970 to relocate his business in the park, that the building he is proposing to construct is a 96' x 40' Butler building which will be constructed on a 6" slab, that it will be used to house and maintain approximately 6 pieces of trench equipment, that all equipment will be housed with the exception of trailers used in connection with the equipment, that it is his intention to surround the property with a chain link fence, and that it is his intention to use crushed rock in the driveway. In answer to a question from the Commission, Mr. Beierle advised that he will seek a rezoning of this 6 acre parcel but is not at this time at liberty to reveal for what purpose. MARY PRESTON - The Commission reviewed a request for legal status for Lots 27, 28, 16, 37, 31, 32, 33, 34 & 35 in Mill Valley Heights Unrecorded Subdivision, which had been submitted by Mrs. Preston, S63 W19071 College Avenue.
