PRESENT: Mayor Jerome Gottfried, Chairman, Charles Buehler, Sec'y, Alvin Basse, Willard Bertram, Ald. Robert Burgermeister, and Ald. Charles Foldy. Planning Consultant Joseph Mangiamele and Zoning Officer Lee were also present. e ABSENT: Ed Raimann MINUI'ES: The minutes of the previous meeting of September 15, 970,were approved as mailed. """"" PERSONAL APPEARANCES requesting approval to construct a 25' x 40' x 12', metal building on his property to replace the frame structure which had been destroyed by fire recently. The Commission reviewed the plans for the proposed Cuckler Building and the site plan submitted. that he has an existing residence on his approximately 7 acre parcel, that the former building had been used as a fabricating welding shop. He pointed out that the proposed building will haw shop and saw mill, that the proposed building will be used for a a concrete floor, will be in a red and white color scheme, have a 10' high door, and that the building will not have windows and that sanitary facilities will not be included at this time. It was noted by the Commission that this is a permitted accessory use in a B-4 District. plans as submitted. Mr. Buehler seconded the motion and the motion carried. VICTOR LANG - Mr. Lang, W125 S9782 North Cape Road, appeared In answer to questions from the Commission, Mr. Lang advised Mr. Basse moved to approve the building, site and operational TESS CORNERS PIRE DEFT. SUBSTATION - Mr. Werner Bierbach, representative of the Tess Corners Pire Dept.! appeared in regard to a proposed 1.57 acre land division from Brlstol Oaks Corp. " property on STH 36 in Sec. 25 on which they are contemplating construction of a substation. Mr. Raymond Wallner appeared as representative of Bristol Oaks Corporation. The Commission reviewed a preliminary plat for division of this property which had been prepared by Waukesha Land Surveys, Inc., September 26, 1970;indicating the property as lying in a B-4 District. It was noted by the Commission that the Common Council has initiated a petition to rezone this property with an OIP Overlay to permit the construction and o.peration of a fire the proposed station. There was a question as to location of this station. The Commission also reviewed a site plan and sketch of property in relation to the boundary line of the Bristol Oaks Corp. property and it was the Commission's decision to request the Commission that a 60' road to be used for access to adjacent the city engineer to determine exact location. MORT KRAMER - Mr. Mort Kramer, representative of Bostonian Homes, appeared for preliminary discussion of planned development for the property known as Walbeck Estates (Lazynski & Beck) in homes for the Commission's review indicating that this would be Section 9, an RS-3 District. He submitted sketches of the proposed a federally financed program (235) and that the homes would be available to families within the $8-10,000 income bracket. It was noted-by the Commission that the enclosure would be compatible with the existing building being of rough cedar with wood shingles; and that although it would be located in the setback area, an agreement has been submitted by Richard & Paul Schaumberg that they will remove any construction between the base setback line and the existing street right-of-way at their expense in the event it would become necessary for street improvement. to the above mentioned agreement. ROGER SCHILTZ - The Commission reviewed a petition submitted of construction of an addition to the first floor of Mr. Schiltz's requesting expansion of Conditional Use Grant #48 for the purpose tavern, Kurly's Tap, S191 W7690 Racine Ave. request for 7:30 P. M.! November 17, 1970, Mr. Basse seconded the motion and the motlon carried. Mayor Gottfried declared recess at 9:25 P. M. and the meeting reconverted at 9:37 P. M. Ald. Burgermeister moved to schedule a hearing to consider this October 6, 1970 Page 4 - Plan Commission PARKLAND PLAZA - Mayor Gottfried advised that Mr. Sam Lawent and other representatives of the Parkland Plaza planned development would not appear; however, the following communications regarding the development were read by the Recording Secretary: Communication dated September 23, 1970, directed to Mr. Sam Lawent from First Wisconsin National Bank: "Dear Sam: has approved an acquisition and development loan on the 115 acres in Muskego in the amount of $575,000 subject to our usual requirements. This is to advise that the First Wisconsin National Bank Sincerely, /s/ Franz R.
