"Dear Mayor Wieselmann:
Responding to your letter of August 21, 1969, regarding
approximately 14 acres in Section 16, it is our opinion that
granting the requested re-zoning will not interupt or in any
way prevent us from forming an opinion with respect to what
lands, if any, should be zoned Industrial in the City of Muskego.

The Clerk also read the following communication, dated August 26,

"Dear Mayor Wieselmann:
At our previous meeting with the Planning Commission, we supported
the zoning of a continuous strip located just West of new Highway I'Y",
which included Multiple Family a.nd Commercial adjacent to one
another or interchangeable. However, this did not include .the
entire fourteen acres of land on the Wallner property.

0 Fourteen acres would create a depth that would set the determining
precident for the depth of the adjacent rezoning, which appears to
be compatible with the intention of the original land planning. It
is our opinion that this rezoning would not alter our original
concept concerning the Civic Center Development. It seems like a
logical committment in the terms of sound basic planning and potential.
Very truly yours,
/s/ Edmund C. Gazinski"
In answer to a question from Ald. Narlock for clarification of the
requirements of acting on a petition for rezoning, Attorney Buckley
advised that recommendation must be made to the Common Council
within 30 days unless the Council stipulates a longer period of time.
Ald. Na~rlock spoke in favor of the proposed rezoning and moved that
the Plan Commission recommend to the Common Council approval of
Muskego Industrial Park, Inc. s petition. Seconded by City Engineer
Kelsenberg. Discussion followed regarding the roadways to the
commercial property and their relation to the industrial area pro-
