HERNKE-CLARK - The following communication dated February 24,
Jim Hernke property, S72 W16680 Janesville Rd., from Plan Consultant
1969, regarding the Clark Oil Station to be constructed on the
Knetzger was read by the Recording Secretary:
"Gentlemen:
We have reviewed the revised site and planting plan prepared
by the Clark Oil & Refining Corp. for the above site. In our
judgement the revised plan carries out the intent of the Commission's
motion of approval at its meeting of February 18, 1969, as long as:
(1) The selection of "red Barberry" for the STH 24 hedge
treatment is made a permanent part of the plan.
(2) The selection of actual plant types for the "evergreen
trees" along the west and north property lines is noted permanently
on the drawing. Cedar is acceptable to us.
(3) The city receives an easement on its standard form from
the owner promising to remove at the ownerls expense any improve-
ments, such as the hedges, being made in the future public right
of way. The better way to avoid this problem is to move the
hedges out of the future right of way, on to the permanent part
of the property, so that widening will not disturb them.
February 11, 1969, at l/S"= 1'0" scale, and revised February 20;
Our remarks refer to drawing number A.F.E. No. 3413 issued
1969.
Respectfully submitted,
/s/ Russell Knetzger" 0 Mr. Raimann moved to accept the revised site plan subject to
the condition that Clark Oil Co. submit an affidavit stating that
they will remove at their expense any improvements in the future
public right-of-way should the need arise. Mr. Bertram seconded
the motion and the motion carried.
