MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 5, 1968

Mayor Wieselmann called the meeting to order at 7:05 P. M.
PRESENT: Mayor Donald Wieselmann, Chairman, Alderman Frank
marlock, Sec'y, Alvin Basse, Charles Buehler and Mrs. Jean
Sanders. Building Inspector Lee arrived at 7:30 P. M.

BROOKFIELD NATIONAL BANK - MUSKEGO BRANCH - The Commission
reviewed a request from Brookfield National Bank - Muskego
Branch to replace the existing, temporary sign advertising
"Coming Soon - On This Site, etc." near the southeast corner of
Lannon Dr. & Janesville Rd. with a permanent sign advertising
the bank. The Commission reviewed the exhibits submitted -
plans of the double face sign which had been prepared by Pob-
locki & Sons as well as a site plan showing proposed sign
location.
Mr. Basse seconded the motion and the motion carried.
Mrs. Sanders moved to approve this sign request as submitted.
PAYNE & ~DOLAN - STATE SAND & GRAVEL - The Commission
reviewed the followine reouest dated October 25. 1968. from Pavne & Dolan received by-referral from the Conuhon Council:.
"Gentlemen:

which has expired. We have work to do in your city next year
weather. We would appreciate it greatly if you could again grant

for Bristol Oaks Corp.. submitted a petition requesting a
conditional use grant for the purpose of a golf -course-to be
located in Secs. 25 and 26 of the City of Muskego. The
Commission reviewed the exhibits submitted.

seconded the motion and the motion carried. It was the Commis-
sion's decision that if this hearing conflicts with the time
scheduled for the rezoning hearing, a compatible time be chosen.

that consideration be given to the Plan Consultant's recommenda-

Mr. Buehler moved to recommend to the Common Council that
Civic Center Site - At the previous meeting, Planner Knetzger
had reviewed possible civic center sites to replace the original
civic center site on Little Muskego Lake which had proved unsatis-
factory. Possibilites proposed were the southeast corner of
Lannon Dr. & Hiway 24 (Lex property); a site at the northwest
junction of the new "Y' and Hiway 24 (Schaefer property); at
the junction of the old and new "Y's'' south of Highway 24 (Hohensee
property); and near the junction of old "Y" and Hiway 24 (Kelly and
Foth properties). It was noted by the Commission that these
sites could also be utilized for municipal garage and some indus-
trial zoning.
