PRESENT: Ald. Frank Narlock, Sec'y, Alvin Basse, Charles Buehler, Willard Bertram arrived at 8:05 P. H. and Building Inspector Lee arrived at 8:lO P. M. MINVTES: Mrs. Sanders moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting of September 3, 1968, as mailed. Mr. Buehler seconded the motion and the motion carried. """""_ DAVID RAGUS - Mr. Ragus, S74 W20850 Field Dr., appeared seeking final approval for land division in the NE$, Sec. 7. It was noted that Mr. Ragus had appeared before the Commission August 15, 1967, seeking procedure to divide his land into two parcels and that the Commission had suggested that he contact a surveyor to determine the best division of his property. map which had been prepared by Surveyor R. Mr. Raimann seconded the motion and the motion e Mrs. Sanders moved to approve the certified survey map for ROBERT STACK & CHRIS ZELIG - Mr. Stack and Mr. Zelig, Relo- cation Realty representatives, appeared to discuss the proposed rezoning of properties in Secs. 9 & 16 from RS-3 (Suburban Residence) to RSM (Multiple Family) as this matter had been re- ferred back to the Commission from the Common Council for further study and recommendation. Ald. Narlock explained that the Common Council had requested an expression from the Commission as to their feeling regarding the rezoning as well as a more definite idea as to what is being proposed for the area. Page 2 - Plan Commission September 17, 1968 Mr. Zelig stated that it would be their intention to ultimately have 54 - 3 bedroom units, 58 - 2 bedroom units and 24 - 1 bedroom units in townhouses and garden apartments, that this ratio would average out to 2.2 bedrooms per unit, that it would be their plan ment to determine occupancy demand. It vas noted by the Commission that Mr. Youssi's existing home would be on Lot 3 and 1/2 of Lot 4 and that the second vacant lot would consist of Lot 5 and 1/2 of Lot 4, and that although the two proposed lots would not meet the RS3District (OED) requirement, they would be improved compared to the existing lots. Building Inspector Lee advised that Mr. Schmidt has requested a variance in required floor area which will be considered by the Board of Appeals at their meeting September 26th.
