this road reservation would be tantamount to becoming a party to

Mrs. Millard is aware of the State Highway Commission's letter
to your Commission dated March 5, 1968, which states: "AS a

preclude development of these lots at this time.
Naturally, of course, she feels that the best plan for all
concerned would be to approve the four parcel division as originally

as possible.
In any event we would much appreciate a prompt decision in
this matter which was first submitted February 6, 1968.

directed to the Mayor and Plan Commission from Zoning Officer
Gerald Lee was read by the Recording Secretary:
"One of the duties of the Zoning Officer is to commence legal
action after authorization of the Common Council of either the B

and the Plan Commission should review this paragraph, and in my
opinion do one of the following:
1. Eliminate the entire paragraph.
2. Delete the words "Common Council" and insert the word "Mayor"
3. Delete the words "Common Council" and insert the words
"Blank Committee".
4. Delete the words "Authorization of the Common Council" and
insert the words "City Attorney".
It is not intended to takemay the authorization of the Common
Council but merely to expedite any legal procedure necessary for
the enforcement of the ordinance.
