HE POINTED OUT CENTER ZONING (B-2 DISTRICT) AND THAT WHILE 8-4 ZONING PERMITS LARGER SIGNS, THIS AREA IS UNDER PLANNED DEVELOPHENT" OVERLAY LESS RESTRICTIVE. THE FACT THAT THE STORE IS FAR BACK FROM THAT A SIGN THAT SIZE EXCEEDS THE LIHITS PERMITTED IN SHOPPING It ZONING, WHERE HORE RESTRICTIVE CONTROLS SHOULD PREVAIL, NOT THE HIGBWAY IS NOT JUSTIFICATION FOR THE LARGE, BRIGHT SIGN BECAUSE A ROAD SIGN CAN BE PERMITTED. ALLOWING THIS SIGN WILL SET AN UNDESIRABLE PATTERN FOR THE WHOLE SHOPPING CENTER. AT A HINIHUH THE HEIGHT OF THE SIGN SHOULD NOT EXCEED THE TOP OF THE ROOF, AND NEGATIVE IHAGE LETTERS SHOULD BE USED TO CUT THE BRIGHTNESS. MR. KNETZGER SHOWED COLORED SLIDES.. .ETC. WOLSKI: AN INSPECTION WAS RECENTLY HADE OF YOUR PROPERTY ON JANESVILLE ROAD IN TESS CORNERS REGARDING THE ERECTION OF A TELEPHONE POLE TYPE FENCE ON THE WEST PROPERTY LINE. THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO DOES PERHIT A FENCE OF THIS TYPE TO BE BUILT UNDER 6 FT. HIGH ANYWHERE ON YOUR PROPERTY, BUT, THE ORDINANCE DOES NOT PERHIT THE STORAGE OF THESE POLES ON YOUR PROPERTY FOR ANY LENGTH OF TIME. I AM ASSUMING THAT IT IS YOVR INTENTION TO CONTINVE WITH THE ERECTION OF THIS FENCE WITH THE REHAININQ POLES. IF THIS IS NOT THE CASE THEN THE POLES MUST BE REMOVED. HE ADVISED THEN THE AREA BETWEEN THE FENCE AND LOT LINE HAD BEEN USED FOR RVBBISH AND TRASH. HE STATED THAT AS A LAST RESORT HE HAD CON- STRUCT,'<SD THE TELEPHONE POLE TYPE FENCE, THAT IT HAD BEEN KOVED BY THE CARS, SO HE HAD BARRICADED TEE FENCE WITH EXCESS POLES. THE COHKISSION DISCUSSED IF THERE WAS A VIOLATION ON THE PART OF SALENTINE GARAGE FOR PARKING TOO CLOSE TO THE LOT LINE, HOWEVER, PLANNER KNETZGER POINTED OUT THAT THE ORDINANCE WAS NOT EXPLICIT IN LIHITATION FOR PARKING AREAS. MR. BUEHLER MOVED TO HOLD THIS MATTER IN ABEYANCE TO GIVE THE COMHISSIONERS A CHANCE TO VIEW THE FENCE. MR. CHASE SECONDED THE MOTION AND THE HOTION CARRIED UNANIHOUSLY. MR. CHASE SUGGESTED THAT THE BUILDING INSPECTOR TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS OF THE FENCE FOR THE RECORDS. - MR. PAEPKE APPEARED TO DISCUSS WITH THE COMMISSION CONDITIONS PROPOSED BY PLANNER KNETZGER FOR THE RUSSELL'S BOAT LIVERY, Wl40 S9329 BOXHORN DR. CONTINUED OPERATION AND EXPANSION OF CONDITIONAL USE FOR PLANNER KNETZGER REPORTED ON HIS FIELD TRIP TO THE LIVERY AND HIS RECOHHENDATIONS FOR SPECIFIC CONDITIONS REGARDING THE OPERATION, BUILDING AND SITE PLAN WERE DISCUSSED POINT BY POINT FOLLOWING NOTION: WITH THE COHHISSIONERS AND MR. PAEPKE WHICH RESULTED IN THE MR.
