UNDER OLD BUSINESS - CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED FROM PROSPECT HILLS DEV. GORP. WAS READ REGARDING DIVISION OF LAND I.E., SADLER & GIESFELDT'S PROPER TIES. MRS. PRIEGEL'S REQUEST FOR COND. USE STATUS & EXP. OF WAS AGAIN DIS- CUSSED. MEMBERS BUDISH AND CooK TALKED TO PETITIONER AND BUYER AND IT HAD BEEN MADE KNOWN THAT NO BUSINESS TRANSACTION SHALL TAKE PLACE UNTIL MAY. MR. MACHKOVICH MOVED, AS SECONDED BY MR. COOK, THAT THIS FROM MRS. PRIEGEL. MOTION CARRIED. CORRESPONDENCE RECEIVED FROM THE ATTORNEY WAS READ REGARDING A STRUCTURE CONTAINING A WASHING OPERATION IN A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONING. DISCUSSION FOLLOWED CONCERNING DECISION OF BOARD REGARDING PETITION OF JENSEN GORP., AND JOHN & CLEMENTINE KNUTOWSKI TO REZONE ACREAGE IN SEC. 18 FROM LIGHT TO GEN'L. ZONING. ONE MEMBER FELT THAT THIS MIGHT BE MAINTAINED AROUND PERIMETER AS BUFFER ZONE.. THE PLANNER WAS ASKED IONS IN ANY AREA DUE TO POSSIBLE DETERIORATION OF LAND VALUES. HE FURTHER STATED THAT THERE ARE ALWAYS MARGINAL TYPES OF INDUSTR~ES-' i THAT MIGHT BE ATTRACTED TO PROPOSED AREA, THE NS BY-PASS WAS DISCUSSED AND ACCORDING TO CHAIRMAN THE REGIONAL PLANN. COMM. IS SHOOTING FOR '65. THE TOWN OF VERNON BOARD WAS PRESENT AND MADE IT KNOWN THAT THEY WOULD BE AGAINST THE PETITIONERS TO MINE IN VERNON AND STOCKPILE IN MUSKEGO. THEY ARE NOT AGAINST ANY MINING OPERATION, BUT DO FEEL THAT ANY PETITION SHALL BE HELD IN ABEYANCE UNTIL FURTHER CONTACT IS RECEIVED BE SPOT ZONING WHILE ANOTHER FELT THAT LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONING SHOULD HIS OPINION AND HE SAID THAT HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN AGAINST MINING OPERAT- ; SHARE OF TAX RETURN SHOULD BE SHARED EQUALLY. . t MR.
