Section V-B-4 - 4. Half-Streets. Where an existing half-
street is adjaoent to the subdivieion,..the subdivider shall be
required to dedioate the remaining half. No platting of partial
right-of-uay shall be permitted nhioh results in the opening of
less than the full right-of-way for any street, exoept with the

MEMORANDUM REPORT

RE: Amendment to Subdivision Ordinance Regarding Half Streets.
Gentlemen:
Pursuant to previous discussion and your direction we are submitting herewirh
the draft of a suggested amendment to the subdivision ordinance regulating
the platting of half streets.
Amend Section V B 14 by adding language to make it read
as follows:
14. mf-Streets
Where an existing half-street is adjacent to the
subdivision, the subdivider shall be required to
dedicate the remaining half. No platting of
partial right-of-way shall be permitted which
results in the opening of less than the full right-
of-way for any street, except with the approval
of the Plan Commission.
