YHE PROPOSED ZONING CHANGE OF THE YESS CORNERS AREA WAS
WHETHER MRS. BUTCHER'S REQUEST FOR 600' ZONING SHOULD BE
AGAIN DISCUSSED AND IT WAS THE QUESTION-OF ONE BOARD MEMBER
CONSIDERED AND IT WAS THE OPINION THAT IF ONE CANNOT PRE-
DETERMINE THE ACTUAL PLACEMENT OF THE BUILDINGS, PARKING
AREA, ETC., ONE COULD NOT DO ANY ADVANCE REZONING.
1T IS POSSIBLE THAT THE PRESENT DEVELOPER WOULD CHANGE
THEIR PLANS AND SELL THEIR LAND. 1F THIS WERE THE CASE
THE BOARD WOULD HAVE ZONED THE AREA BEYOND ITS NEEDS AND
IT'S ALWAYS EASIER TO BROADEN AN AREA, BUT PRETTY DIFFICULT
TO REDUCE IT.
MR. GOOK MADE A MOTION THAT RECOMMENDATION RE MADE TO THE TOWN.BOARD THAT THE AREA LOCATED IN II'ESS UORNERS, SECTION 2
AS SHOWN ON ATTACHED MAP BE CHANGED~ FROM..LOCAL ~VSINESS TO
GENERAL BUSINESS. MOTION SECONDED BY SORENSON AND MOTION
CARRIED .
MR. SORENSON MADE A MOTION, AS SECONDED BY HR. OOOK, THAT THE
GRANT OF CONDITIONAL USE STATUS FOR SOCONY-MOBIL AERTICE
STATION BE INCORPORATED IDTO COMMISSION MINUTES. .MOTION PASSED.
ATTACHED MEMO REPORT REGARDING CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO
MR. NELSON REPORTED THAT GER- EX Go. HAD SUBMITTED THEIR BUILD-
ING PLANS TO HIM FOR RECOMMENDATION, AND THAT MR. UERWIN
WOULD BE MOST WILLING TO CHANGE THE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
AND JUST AS SOON AS HE IS ABLE TO CLEAR WITH THE STATE
REGARDING HIS PUBLIC ACCESSES THEY WILL AGAIN REVIEW HIS
PROPOSED PLANS ONCEMORE AND SUBMIT THE NECESSARY DATA TO
THE BOARD.
