liable to maintain.
Two representatives, Mr. John Veshnevsky and Don Baglien, of
Modern American Homes appeared before the comission fequesting
permission to re-activitate an area located in the SET Section 9
and submitted a rough prelimary sketch of such. The original
prelimary plot was submitted to the Board in March, 1959. They
are very much interested in becoming part of the future municipal
sewer district. Presently their plot shows 16,000 sq. ft. lots
and have plans to sell and develop every other lot such as 1, 3, 5, etc., and then when the sewage district is available they
would develope 2, 4, and 6. Developing every other lot for the
time being would of course, eliminate any septic tank and leach
bed problems due to the double area available. The plot contains
approximately 102 lots and the average width and. depth is 100 x 160'.
Mr. Gottfried mentioned that the filling in of ground Mr. Lazinskl
became trapped. This, of course, would have to be solved and Mr. did sometime ago produced some poor drainage problems as the water
Veshnevsky again assured the board that their concern would be
everything in their power to cooperate. The percolation tests for
the area are not available, but would be made available as soon
as necessary. They did not uish to invest anymore money than is
absolutely necessary at the present time until they are able to
proceed a little further with their plot. The chairman told Mr.
Rlanning Consultant and submit to them their rough prelimary
Veshnevsky that he should confer with Mr. William Nelson the
sketch. The chairman stated that from what knowledge he had of
this particular parcel and the parcel Mr. C. Harris owns there
is a pie-shaped piece of land in between which no one dabs
American Homes and Mr. Harris come to some agreement as to the

The clerk then read the memo report for the "proposed platting
It was the honsensus of opinion of.the board that percolation -
tests should be made available before further consideration is
made. In reviewing the report of Nelson and Ball it was the
opinion that paragraph #2 would not be feasible. The clerk was
directed to contact Wm. Kilps Sons by letter in regard to same.
The petition of Mr. & Mrs. Erwin Posbrig was read along with the
made by Mr. Cook that the Planning Commission make a recommendation
report of the planners. After much deliberation a motion was
to the Town Board that this parcel be rezoned from Agricultural
to Residential A-1 and said parcel is bounded by Highway "Y" and
section lines in the S& of Section 20. Motion seconded by.Guhr
and motion passed.
Following the discussion of E. Posbrigrs petition Mr. Cook asked
the commission to define a quarrying operation. Mr. Cook stated
years ago by removing about 600 loads of dirt from the lot which
that one Melford Foth carried on a quarrying operation about 2
is located directly next to his in Bay Shore Estates. Pictures
were shown to the commission by Mr. Cook showing the erosion which
has taken place and also the destruction of topography. There
was a question as to whether or not Mr. Foth had made an oral
or written agreement with the Town Board at that time to restore
the area by either laying flagstone or terracing the lot so as
to eliminate any soil erosion, etc.
And the last order of business was that question which Mr. Schroeder
brought up in regard to a report and complaint he recently re-
ceived concerning the Styro Products Corp., which is presently
operating at S66-~-4507 Janesville Rd., Hales Corners 3, Wis.
The area is presently zoned for Local Business and it has been
reported that the Styro Foam Products Corp. is conducting a
light manufacturing business. After much discussion the clerk
was directed to notify the principal owner that a manufacturing
business is being operated in an area which is zoned Local Bus.,
operations will have to cease immediately.
and since it is in complete violation of the zoning ordinance
Motion was made by Cook to adjourn at 10:Os P. M. Motion was
seconded by Pares and said meeting was adjourned.
