Commission was called to order at 8 P. N. by the Chairman
The regular meeting of the Town of Muskego Planning & Zoning

Bohrer and Sorenson. Also present were Mr. Gottfried and

accepted as read.
First order of business was the application of Kr. Louis F.
Smith for Conditional Use Status on the property located on
Highway 'rYrr now used for tavern purposes. The tavern is
located on the corner of Wentland Drive and Highway rrYrr
which is located in a A-2Residential District. lir. Smith
was asked to submit a complete description of his property
and he would be afforded a Public Hearing at which time
posting would be made regarding same. Action shall be taken
as soon as the description of the property is received.
The second order of business was the appearance of Kr. Babich
layout. The informed the Board that the layout for same
and Lir. Raymond Foelker regarding their description and plat
would not be ready for a few more weeks and would be submitt-
ed to this Board when ready.
Pir. 1.i. G. Luckow appeared before the Board in regard to the
action taken by this Board in reference to his application
he actually wanted was a Quarry District and he stated that
for a General Industrial District. It was decided that what
he was willing to wait for the new ordinance regarding same

A general discussion was had between the Board and Mr. Jerome
Gottfried, Town Chairman, regarding a new Zoning Ordinance

Mr. Gottfried stated that this business would be acted upon

Special reference was made to Paragraph 5 of the minutes dated
August 8, 1956.
A lengthly discussion followed on a new Zoning Ordinance which
was proposed.
A motion was made by hr. Art Kolm that we adopt the Model Zon-
ing Ordinance for Towns as prepared by the Waukesha Park and
Planning Commission subject to modifications applicable to this
township after a joint session is conducted between the Plann-
ing and Zoning Commission, Muskego Town Board, Board of Appeals
B. D. Cook and all parties present voted in favor of the motion.

use to General Industrial use. The description is as follows:

A motion was made by Mr. E. D. Cook that this application be
denied for the following reasons:
1. The area which is contemplated Is not suitable for
this type of operation because of the general level
