COOK LEELIE 80RENSON February 22, 1957 t Minutes of the Regular Meeting of February 18, 1957, called to order at 7:OO P.M. Members present: A1 Czarnecki, Chairman, Arthur Koh, B. D. Cook, Walter Bohrer and L. Sorenson. The first order of business was the reading of the minutes of the last meeting which were approved as read. Nr. Victor Pronschinski, R. R. 3, Hales Corners, Wis., appeared before the board with Mr. W. Kelliber who is interested in establishing an Appliance and Furniture Store to be used for resale of Used and New Furniture by auction and other means. After a thorough discussion by all parties present a motion was made by Mr. Cook that this be held All members voted for said motion and Mr. Pronschinskl and Mr. Kelliber over for further study by this Board. Motion was seconded by Mr. Sorenson. were informed that they would be advised accordingly. @The following references were presented by Mr. Kelliber: Member of the Milwaukee Real Estate Board Boulevard Fireproof Warehouse - 8 years. Buyer for Marshall Field of Chicago - 8 years. Buyer and Manager of Meyer Lubotsky Stores - 8 years. I A motion was made by B. D. Cook, after complete review was made of all parties, property and business involved, that the request of Mr. Pronschinski for rezoning be denied for the following reasons. The rezoning would result in "Spot Zoning" which is both detrimental to the neighborhood and a traffic hazard. -Motion seconded by Mr. L. Sorenson. Motion passed by all members present. Members of the Board visited the property in question and examed same. i The case of Mr. G. Berube was brought before the Board. All members have examed the property and will act on same after Mr. Berube is notified to appear at the next meeting. Mr. Cook made a motion that action on this property be tabled until Mr. Berube is notified to appear. Motion seconded by Mr. Sorenson. Motion was passed by all board members present. Mr. Milan appeared regarding his request for a Boat Livery. Mr. Milan was informed that no definite action has been taken and that he would be notified as soon as a discussion regarding this issue is made. Mr. Russell F. Paepke appeared with a request for a Public Hearing in Mr. Paepke was told that his request would be followed tb2Ough at Our regard to a Boat Livery on Big Muskego Lake at Boxhorn Rd.
