The special meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission was
called to order by the Acting Chairman, Mr. B. D. Cook at 7:l5 P. MI on September 25, 1956. Members present were Messrs. Bohrer,
Kolm atid Sorenson.
In accordance with a request written by Mr. Edward H. Griffiths
Bodendorfer, asking for an Occupancy Permit for use on the Lloyd
of September 21, 1956, in reference to the request of Mr. Roy
Ruehle Farm for Agricultural purposes and the boarding and care
reviewing all the facts as presented, Mr. L. Sorenson made a
of horses for private owners. After a lengthy discussion and
motion as follows; the secretary shall be instructed to write a
letter to Mr. Edward H. Griffiths, Mr. Uoyd Ruehle and Mr. Roy
Bodendorfer, that due to the present zoning, as it now stands,
the use of this property for the purpose as requested, would be
' considered business. Under the existing zoning this would have to be denied as this board feels that under the present zoning
laws there is no provision made for this type of business zoning.
the above information, was passed by all members present.
The motion was seconded by Arthur Kolm. This motion, to forward
