The plans of Mr. Geor$e Maurice were submitted under non-confordng
use^ €,or removing a portion of his present building and adding to and
remodelling his machine shop. After a discussion by the board a motion
was made by Mr. Cook and seconded by Mr. Bohrer, that a public hearing
be held about this property on the 20th of August, after notice is duly
posted. All members voted for the motion.
A general discussion was had by all who were present as to the merits of
Section 10 versus Section 18 and 19.
A motion was made by Mr. Cook and seconded by Mr. Sorenson that the
portion of Section 18, South of Highway 24 now zoned as agricultural,
and all of Section 19 be rezoned General Industry. All members present

A motion was made by Mr. Cook and seconded by Mr. Sorenson that the
Northeast and Southeast 4 Section of Section 10 shown as agricultural
A-2 be zoned as General Industry, also all of the Southeast Section
except the Northwest corner of the Northeast $ of Section IOi shown a3
of Section 3, all of the Southwest 2 Section of Section 2, the Northwest
North of Woods Road Drive be rezoned to General Industry except that now
indicated as Local Business. All members present voted for this motion.
A general discussion was had as to the four corners at Kelsey Road and
Highway Y to rezone for local business, but no formal request was presented
and it was decided to hold up any action until a proper request was made.
A survey was made by members of the Planning Commission and the Town Board
of available industrial sites in the township on Sunday, July 29, 19.5'6.
Members who turned out were Mr. A. Czarnecki, Mr. L. Sorenson, Mr. D.
Guhr, and Mr. J. Gottfried. Attention was again made to the Town Board
about our zoning signs at the town lines.
A motion to adjourn was made at lO:45 P.M. by Mr. Cook and seconded
by Mr. Sorenson. Motion carried.
