Speed on Hillendale Drive
Ron Daliege who is a resident on Hillendale Drive near Tans Drive advised that last year his
mailbox was struck and a neighbor's dog was struck as well. He advised he spoke with
several neighbors and has signatures from them supporting a speed limit decrease on
Hillendale Drive. Many of the residents are concerned that the speed limit is still 35mph when
most of the side streets around it are 25mph. Captain Constantineau advised the department
has a new speed sign that will not show people their speed and allow them to slow down for
the "study". He advised the sign will be placed and once they receive the data, a plan will be
set in place. He asked that the item be deferred until the next meeting. Citizen Representative
Kuwitzky made a motion to defer until the next meeting. Alderman Hammel seconded. Motion
passed, 4 in favor.
Parking on Lions Park for Pickleball
Captain Constantineau advised that Chief Rens reported they were having problems with
parking on Lions Park Drive for the pickel ball league. Parking permission has been
temporarily adjusted to determine if this configuration will solve the parking problem. Captain
Constantineau requested the item be deferred until the next meeting to see if this resolution
has worked. Citizen Representative Kuwitzky requested the matter be deferred until the next
meeting. Alderman Hammel seconded. Motion passed, 4 in favor.
Stop Sign on Westfield and Quietwood

Quietwood Drive. The request is to make that stop sign permanent. Alderman Hammel made

seconded. Motion passed, 4 in favor.
