MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 2, 1977
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Schaumberg at 8~00 P.M.
Also present were Aldermen Ford and Dumke and Supt Bertram.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed and placed on file.
Applications for employment were received and placed on file.
Supt. Bertram reviewed for the committee the specifications to be used for the rubber tired backhoe.
Ald. Ford moved to again have the Public Works Department prepare
the city-owned land on McShane Drive to be used for garden plats. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
The committee reviewed and accepted a revised plan for the
installation of a holding tank for the Country Club Oaks proposed development.
Mr. Carl Wauer appeared at the meeting to discuss with the committee the problem regarding the culvert on his property. Mr. Wauer and
supt. Bertram will work together to solve the problem.
supt. Bertram discussed with the committee the need to finish off
Union Church Drive with an asphalt mat once the reconstruction is completed.
The committee discussed the need to begin plans for its major
road improvement program and storm sewer projects for 1977. It
was their decision to request that each alderman submit a priority
list of needed public works projects in their district. It is the
intent of the committee to review the major road improvement plans
first and to delay discussion of the storm sewer projects until later in spring.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to adjourn, seconded by Aid. Ford, motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:00 P.M.
