Public Works Committee- MINUTES - 11/3/19770 PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 3, 1977 Acting The meeting was called to order by/Chairman Dumke at 8 33 P.M. Also present was Committee Member Tomczyk, Supt. Bertram, Ald. Wallner, Mrs. Heckert, Mrs. Dorothy Van Lanen and Mr. and Mrs. Moreno. supt. Bertram advised the committee that Bay Lawn and Freedom Acres Subdivisions and Durham Drive are being asphalted. supt. Bertram advised also that Guernsey Meadows Subdivision is being re-seeded. The committee is recommending to Common Council approval of a resolution rejecting the one bid received from the A. T. Forseth Company in the amount of $22,500.00 for the installation of concrete invert from S.T.H. 24 to Windsor Drive. Bids will again be advertised for and construction should being in spring of 1978. The minutes of the previous meeting held October 20, 1977, were reviewed and placed on file. Supt. Bertram advised the committee of a drainage problem in the area of the Walter Wendlandt residence on Hillview Drive. Building Inspector Lee will be directed to review the matter in an effort to resolve the problem. Supt. Bertram advised the committee that he had contacted Mr. Roger - Kastelloregarding the filling in of a retention pond in the area of Gold Drive. Ald. Dumke suggested that Mr. Kastello be invited to a future meeting to discuss his plans in more detail with the committee. Communication was reviewed requesting a street sign for Canfield Ct. in the Kristin Downs Subdivision. The committee deferred the matter until the next meeting to further review the request. The committee discussed .various public works problems in'the' city with persons present at the meeting. Ald. Tomczyk moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
