0 MINUTES OF MEETING FOR MAY 19, 1976
Present were Chairman, Paul Schaumberg, Mayor Gottfried, Ald. Ford,
Dumke, Pienkos, Wallner, and Supt. Bertram.
a Applications of employment for Public Works Dept. were received and
placed on file.
Supt. Bertram submitted a cost estimated for the lift on that portion
of Cornell Drive which was opened and will be opened in the future
for sewer lateral installation.
A check was received from First Federal Savings in the amount of
$54,686.16 to fulfill contracts with Rite Realty Inc.
Mayor Gottfried read the letter sent to Anton Beringer regarding
the City's offer to purchase land owned on Lochcrest Drive.
Mayor Gottfried also sent another letter to the above offering
him the cost of the sewer assessment plus the interest for the

lot.
The Public Works Committee will send a detailed letter to each
alderman regarding the May 18th tour concerning drainage problems,
etc. of all aldermanic district.
The problem on Gold Drive adjacent to the Pfeffer property will be
taken care of by Mr. Bertram.
The Conunittee acknowledged receipt of a letter received from
Mr. Kenneth Larsen answering his question concerning any charges.
A request from Mr. Peinkos requesting a sign change on Tess Comers
Road was received. Mr. Bertram will take care of this.
Frank DeAngelis appeared, He explained his neighbors across the street will not participate in any land agreement, the only settle-
ment will have to come thru court action.
Ald. Ford strongly suggested that the City resolve drainage problems
on City owned land.
Id. Ford moved to adjourn at 10:00 P.M. Seconded by Ald. Dumke.
