as possible.

problems to submit them to the committee as soon as possible.
The committee reviewed the proposed Valley Square development and noted
that the proposed road, was only 50' in width, the cul de sac did not meet
the requirements of the Subdivision Control Ordinance and that no provision
has been made for an extension of Valley Drive. Ald. Schaumberg moved to
advise the developer of Valley Square that the committee would be receptive
to a 50' wide road since existing Ann Drive is only 50' in width, that they
would require curb and gutters, that the cul de sac must meet the require-
ments of the Subdivision Control Ordinance and that a utility easement
would have to be provided in order that Valley Square could be extended
westerly from its present west terminal point. Motion seconded by Ald.
Dumke and carried.
The committee reviewed the need for a road bond in the proposed Lake Lore
Estates Subdivision. It was noted that there was approximately 2,000 feet
of roadway and that the estimated costs would be approximately $15.00 per
foot. Ald. Schaumberg moved to advise the developers of Lake Lore Estates
Subdivision that a $30,000.00 road bond would be required prior to any
approval of the subdivision and further that a cash bond would also be
required. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The committee considered the advisability of providing garden plats for
the city as was done in 1975. Ald. Schaumberg moved to authorize the
Public Works- Department to prepare the land and further to authorize the
Clerk's Office to advise the citizens that garden plats will be available.
The committee discussed the fact that there are no water and plumbing
standards for the industrial park. It was the city's decision to refer
